    G6ETNZ posted a topic in General Tech

    I had the MIL come on in the weekend, had to drive 400km in the wrong direction from home (family commitment) and managed to get it into the dealership. They've just called me and told me that the VCT (cam?) phasers (one or both) are jammed and the solenids for both are also stuffed. The quote they've given me for parts alone is gob smacking (I saw another post on here saying Ford charged $280 for the solenoids in 2014, try tripling that....) plus 6 hours labour. Plus they say no parts here and 4 days (!) from Oz. I had diff bushes delivered here in 17 hours from the GC. Any ideas on where I can get the parts from at a reasonable price? Second hand? Ebay? Ford Australia? Car is an '09 G6ET. Thanks in advance.
