Fellas, So I am getting 6POT Stolz SFZ front and 4POT Stolz SFZ rear put on my F6 ute tomorrow. Has anyone upgraded the rear brakes beyond the OEM 1POT? As I know Ford never gave the option to upgrade the rear brakes as it apparently causes some issues. I've read from other forums that a few blokes have done it without issue but no first hand answers. Has anyone in this community done the above upgrades in their Falcon Ute? Cheers

It will be interesting to determine who are most affected by brake shudder what type of driving styles or transmissions are most prone to the problem.. If you are like me and have a XR6 Turbo on order and wish you were driving it brake shudder or not hang in there I am just...............

Bit of a stretch but, would bf turbo FRONT rotors and pads fit the GT REAR?

Front left caliper is dragging causing brake to get extremely hot could only just turn wheel by hand is this a sign of a faulty brake booster. Pad wear is even, slides on caliper were moving smoothly. any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys, New to forum so hope someone can help. I have 2010 FG XR6 and need to top brake fluid almost on a weekly basis. There is no obvious leak that I can see. Any suggestions?

Hi all, I have noticed my brakes are in need of replacing have noticed a shudder every now and then and just general poor performance and some squealing. I have read through the forums, and the DBA T3 4000 series seem to be the way to go keeping some budget in mind, would love to get some brembos but cant really justify to fork out that cash atm. however I am seeing heaps on conflicting info on the fourms, ebay and DBA itself. In regards to the stock breaks being 298mm vs 322mm I wanted to go the BDA T3 DBA42107S which are 322mm. will these fit my car? I believe it has stock calipers. its a 2009 G6E Turbo... Hi guys, will 17 inch ford territory steel wheels fit over my brembo 4 pots on the front, PBR rear brakes.

terry brakes bolt straight onto fg but can anyone tell me if the turbo calipers and rotors also fit?These are 340 x 32 mm and seem like a good option before going to brembos.Apparently there may be an issue between 2 or 4 wheel drive models.

I have a fg xr6t which has the 4pot brembo brakes in the front. Last week I dropped the car off at ford to get the diff bush replaced, a day later an annoying squeal started when braking. Now it has got worse and louder, when turning left without even touching the brakes the screeching noise still happens. When the steering wheel is straight or turning right, there is no noise. ford said they didnt touch the front end when replacing the rear diff bushes so I can't really blame them, cars also out of warranty. If I had to take a guess, I'd say noise is coming from the front. To test this theory I splashed a bucket of water onto the front wheels then went for a drive, the squealing stopped for a good minute then started again. front pads still have 40% left and rears have 60% left Any ideas?

Turn On Wipers/brake System Malfunction Light Appears

TODAY WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN I PUT THE WIPERS ON ONLY TO SEE THAT THE BRAKE SYSTEM MALFUNCTION WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. ONCE I TURNED THE WIPERS OFF THE LIGHT WENT OFF. NOT SURE IF IT IS EARTHING, WIRING ETC... NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT PROBLEM IS.
