    Having left the dealership , I had the opportunity to talk to the service manager , and I stated I would be back to have the oil changed at 1000k and then at intervals of 5000k .. He looked me up and down like I was from outer space or had just jumped out from under a rock.. I stated ,it has been a practice I have employed with all my cars . He stated he wouldn't and would look to change the oil at no less than 7000ks ..as it had special oil designed to help the engine in the early stages .. I said , that ' s ok , just replace it with the special oil at 1000 and again at 5000. Would hear of it.... Is there any truth / merit in this special oil? Am I wrong to change it at 1000 and then at intervals of 5000?
