Hi Gang, Long time lurker, first time poster. Been re-searching higher stall converters for the BTR in my BA mk2 in the hunt for better 1/4 mile times. I've had a poke around but can't seem to find a direct answer. If I install say, a 2800 converter, will the car go into limp mode? Will it need to the ECU re-flashed? Anything else to look out for? Also, it's soon to be running 300rwkw, with the usual upgrades. With a 275 drag radial, will that get it into the 11's (with practice) do we think? Thanks for your help!

Hi guys new here on this forum so I’ve just purchased a ba XR6T ute stock as a rock. It has a noisy output shaft, (sounds like a wheel baring failure) but it’s 100% the output shaft as it’s got in/out and side2side movement. Otherwise box works as it should no slipping or jolting. The Utes transmission part number is 3R23-700-CD My question to you all is ... I have a spare N/A btr transmission with the part number 3R23-7000-AC sitting in the shed. Can it be installed in the XR6T or will it not work/hold the power? if this has been a topic befor I apologise in advance...🤪

Hey lads just seeing if anyone has purchased off or used rvo automatics to build their tranmissions and what was the quality/workmanship like? Im looking at a rebuilt BTR4spd from there for my ba xr6t , its rated at 400kw but before I spend any money id like to get a little more info and hear the opinion of others that have had work done by them before. Thanks guys

Has anyone fitted a PWR trans cooler kit PWO6115 to a BA XR6T - will the mounting brackets in the kit mount up fine behind the factory intercooler?

Want to know rough power figures I can expect from get my ba xr6 turbo it has a sports 2half inch cat back. Is getting 1000cc Bosch injector walbro 460 in tank pump bigger cooler 3inch piping same as plazmaman stage 2 with a under headlight intake.and fitting crow valve springs and retainers only thing I can't really add to the budget is a bigger zaust how does everyone think shell go also a good tuner in Brisbane was planning on going to to real dyno redcliff.
