hey guys ive just upgraded my turbo to a gtx3582 on my auto fg xr6t but the guys at mtq stuffed up the gate mod and boost cant be controlled below 18psi and 18psi is way to much for the stock fuel system so im going to go a plasmaman surge with twin 044s or walbro 460's ready for e85 when it come to townsville but the cam chain guides are worn out so while ive got it apart I wanna do the oil pump and a nice set of cams ive gotta few questions is it worth it going for twin pumps ive hurd ill have to change the fuel reg if I go the twin pumps should I go the fuel rail as well I plan on running e85 and whats the biggest cams I can run with the auto and stock converter do I need to change the intire oil pump housing and or just the gears short term plans are to run 19-21 psi on 98 fuel and around the 400-420kw mark with a mid to high 10sec 1/4mile

Ok just need to work out best way to setup twin Bosch 044's. Is the factory pump regulated by the Ecu or does it run at full voltage Continuously. I'm not wanting to run both 044 pumps continuously as don't want high Recirculating happening while driving sedately or idling. As well why waste the life of the pump while it's not required. Now if the factory Ecu does control the in tank pump well I can tap into It's power feed as my signal for the 044's and all is good. (fingers crossed). If it does not control the in tank pump then I need to look else where. Can I use any of the factory boost, map sensors for a trigger wire. Other then that I need to find a variable pressure switch that I can Set to control the second pump either by boost or fuel pressure. Eg set it at 55-57psi to switch 2nd pump on. Switch off at 57psi. Or boost sensor to activate 2nd pump at 10-12psi If anyone has done a setup in either way as above please reply. Interested in what was used as well cost and where to get required bits. Aother option is if I was to run a single large pump I still would Like to control pump flow. I have currently got the process west surge tank and worried on weather It's capacity is sufficient to feed twin 044's. If anyone can comfirm the capacity to be adequate please do so. Keep in mind I will be wanting to do some circuit laps from time to time not just drag runs. Fuel system required to support To4z custom setup, full port head.

Hey guys, I have been lurking in this forum for a while taking in the great info on offer. I recently (4-5months ago) got a 2006 BF XR6T. So far I have done Blue Power CAI, Centre muffler removal, Braided turbo oil supply line, DBA cross slotted rotors, EBC Greens, Tune. Its making 240rwkw very safely at the moment. Whiteline sways going in on saturday. Anyways next is Fuel Pump and Injectors and this is where I need some help... For injectors I wanna go Bosch 968s as I don't think I'll ever go over 350rwkw and I know people run these in 400+ setups... I've heard the Siemens Deka 60lbs are crazy good if you are chasing the biggest numbers but are overkill otherwise... Can anyone confirm or deny this? For pump I'm thinking either walbro GSS 341 or something similar.... I am pretty open to suggestions... Something that I won't need to get a surge tank for is preferable and I was gonna go in tank unless I am told why I shouldn't Any help appreciated as always guys!! And I'll attach a few pics so ya can see what I'm working with. Cheers, Joe
