they dont really work anyway. when police have laser guns they are on you for about a second and get a reading. As soon as the radar goes off and you begin to 'slam the breaks' lol the police man's laser gun has already caught your speed. maybe tell your friend to look at investing in a laser jammer.

you will need a tune. Even though it is highly illegal and you will get raped if you ever get caught. It will probably be the best mod you will ever do.

just because it has 200ks does not mean it is going to be fuucked. my cousins friend has a T with 270k and is running fine. he had done chip and engine and running gear was all standard and fine. So get a comp test, and get it checked from top to bottom. especially check the turbo, diff box. also people who buy these cars should not worry about resale value. You will lose the same if you buy this or bf. Maybe even lose more on a bf because they are still have a long way to drop.

man, you don't need a rebuild. go check out the car and see how the tranny goes and how the diff sounds and MAKE SURE you get a comp. test done. Also rip the pipe off the turbo and inspect the shaft play and the blades. If something blows then fix it.

25 is a good realistic price, people are trying to sell similar models for 30+.... DUMB! Try and get it for 23 and you have done well.

is it the 6speed manual or the 4speed auto? if its the auto I suggest getting a good trans cooler if its manual it should be fine but may need a better clutch

personally I think the majority of our cars have been flogged a lot harder than these cop cars. I am almost 100% sure all my cars would have been too.
