  1. Some of you guys might be missing the point of my post, the post is to do with FRONT Territory Turbo brakes onto a BA or BF, not rear brakes onto a BA. The rears are cheap and can be found easily if you look, all you need is the calipers, rest is aftermarket. THe Territory Turbo fronts are much harder to source aftermarket if not impossible? That is what I am trying to find out. Hope someone out there has some info, as the prices charged by Ford are not reasonable. 2 piston calipers up near the price of Brembos or APs? Not right Ford.
  2. I was looking into getting the Territory Turbo front brakes onto my BA, they are a lot better at 340 mm x 32 mm. I rang Ford who said the stub axle on the Terri Turbo and the NA Turbo are the same meaning that they should fit on the BA as well as the NA Terri brakes do. Here lies the problem, Ford parts prices: Territory Turbo calipers: $847.89....each! Territory Turbo rotors: $720.39....each! It seems the rotors are not yet available aftermarket, DBA etc (well I called 1 Bursons store to check). Does anyone else have any info on the Territory Turbo brakes onto a BA or BF? I am getting my brother who works for Bursons to check if the calipers and rotors are available aftermarket yet through PBR. Should have that onfo soon.
  3. Hi all, just an FYI to let you know that you can get Gates products including the submersible fuel hoses from CBC BEarings for $35 per 30cm.
  4. I'll check out the hose and the standard printed on it, it's not costing me much anyway and I can rteturn it if it doesn't look any good.
  5. Hi all, Since looking into a Walbro pump I have found a GSS294 through petroject who distribute them Aust wide, price was $176. The harder part was finding the submersible fuel line......I ended up finding some for ??? (my price through my mate's auto store). Anyways when I receive I will see if it lasts, since it's submersible I assume it should. Seems some people are having trouble finding submersible fuel line at a decent price so thought that if mine works OK I could organise to distribute some to interested people. Lengths come in half metre so one length should easily do three cars. Anyone interested let me know...price should be approx $30 for the half metre.
  6. The drill gets a good workout at my place! She's mush friendlier after a good drill and ream session.
  7. Installed a wog cooler with a little help from the gf, once the holes were drilled...then another hole drilled in the bracket so that the hole was in the right place (bracket completely wrong) I had it tuned by C&V again...... Before the retune 253rwkw (injectors maxed out), after retune 266rwkw. THe car is a 6 speed manual BA Mk2 turbo. Must say that the difference is huge especially in the heat. The hot weather doe not bother the car anymore, you can feel a slight drop in power when it's really hot but not like with the stock intercooler. I would recommend an intercooler upgrade for anyone, whichever brand you want to use go ahead. Obviously some have advantages over others.....but I was happy with the direct bolt up (after some modification!) wog cooler as it was relatively easy to fit. I was looking at the APS kit but the expense was not worth it for my level of modification in the end.
  8. Here are the Dyno Graphs. Unfortunately they didn't do one with RPM, only kmh.
  9. Perhaps you're right, I just feel the lag MUCH more now. Shame it has to come on so late, I guess the restrictive intake and exhaust really don't help too much.
  10. I'll post the dyno graphs tomorrow. More torque down low is what I need, I'm sure the 6 speed can handle it, they have put up with a lot more than I want to throw at it. At the moment I get very little down low, from 2500 you can feel a very small increase which doesn't keep building, it's not until 3200 that you get a power hit. I put it back to stock and it feels like it has more down low coming on from 2000. Just doesnt feel right, stock feels so much more progressive and comes on earlier.
  11. Hi all, Since being new to XR6 turbos I wanted to find out other people's experiences with their car's power delivery. I have a BA MK2 Manual turbo which has been edited to 253rwkw. The power comes on like so: 1500rpm to 3000rpm, feel and hear very little boost come one, power does not hit at all. 3000rpm start to hear the whistle and by 3200rpm the car takes off. I feel like there should be more down low...the car is stock other than the edit and a 2nd CAI. I recently drove 1 stock BF Manual Turbo which felt like the power come on a lot earlier, say from just above 2000rpm. What are other people's experiences? In a stock car with just edit does your power come on earlier than 3000rpm?
