  1. I am using an EMS 8860 ECU on a BA XR6T engine in a XF falcon. I got Atomic adjustable cam gears and used the standard XF throttle body. As for sensors, mine is pretty basic. To be honest, I dont use any sensors. No fuel pressure sensor, no air/inlet temp sensor, no oil pressure sensor etc etc
  2. All the coolers mentioned above will do the job you're after. Speak to each company and see who you feel the most comfortable with and give them your business. They all have proven results, even a cheap ebay cooler would do the job.
  3. Speak to Propeller Shaft Services. They recently sorted out an issue on a FG tailshaft that 2 other tailshaft shops couldnt. Address: 14 Ilma St, Bankstown NSW 2200Phone:(02) 9771 2575
  4. Congrats matt, she's making some power with that mph well done.
  5. Yeah I agree
  6. 740rwkw is alot through a normal GT42 and at only 30psi...any details on the car etc ?
  7. Well done mate. Oh so close to a 9 second pass.

Had this on the dyno yesterday. On eflex and 34psi. It the rain holds off, I'll be racing it at Jambo tomorrow
  10. Well done on the car mate, she looks awesome and I like how the cage is painted to match the interior. What sort of numbers are you aiming for in x275 ?
  11. Good luck mate, 4 figures would be awesome When you say you went from the 1.01 housing on the GTX42, are you using a GTX42 rear with a GTX45 front ?
  12. Previous thread discussing these. They are dead quiet, you have to touch it to see if its working. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82730-holley-fuel-pumps/?hl=%2Bholley#entry1349421
  13. Basically, the engine bolts straight in. You keep the bottom mounts that are bolted onto the crossmember and change the engine mounts to EB/EA or something. (engine will touch the brace on the bonnet, but you can just cut that off). As for gearbox crossmember, I use the same crossmember for both a T5 and C4, so they are available anywhere(no mods needed). Wouldnt be that hard to fab up a crossmember for the ZF box anyways. But then you need a custom tailshaft etc If your going to use a C4, you can get a bellhousing to suit from torque power (if you go down that path). Regarding the diff, you can use a LSD diff out of an EB or so. Mine survived months of abuse with 700rwhp+ (although never on slicks) and never broke. Wiring, check the below link. Basically clips on, you wire in a couple things and its good to go. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-BA-BF-XR6-TURBO-MANUAL-Standalone-engine-harness-/261099864605?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ccac3c21d You will need to change the throttle body off the engine as they are fly by wire, unless you want to install the pedal assembly into the xf. I wouldnt bother with the turbo and manifold if your chasing 500rwhp, people on here have made that with a standard turbo and manifold ( others on here will know more about that side of things)
  14. Ill happily attend this event, good on ya Hiro for giving it a go
  15. Yep, factory turbo means not touched, no bigger comp cover, no wastegate porting and flapper mods etc etc.
  16. Well done mate, awesome result Is that on pump E85 or drum ?
  17. Looking great mate, nice to see you've gone to the effort of the C4 and 9inch Looking forward to seeing this at the track
  18. Curious, if your not new to tuning etc, why would you go to someone to get your car tuned ?
  19. I have been to the last 3. 2 were the 1 day powerplay events and I had a carport with pitpass which is awesome(you dont have to wait in line, just drive out whenever you like) Went to the 3 day event, waited in line for 5hours (not sure if that's what its normally like on the 3 day events) and got 2 laps in. Was spewin. Im gonna enter regardless, just to have some fun.
  20. This is progressing nicely Is that 700hp or kw ?
  21. They are pretty easy going at WSID. Dont remember them checking for trans blanket or external isolation switch on mine. Also didnt know you needed a fixed back seat, ive got normal BA seats and never been pulled up.
  22. Im running an Atomic Flexplate with a C4. No issues at all.
  23. Wow, very nice mate. Looks tuff as with the convo pro's. What sort of numbers do you think you will be running in X275 ?
  24. Im running a C4 in mine. Makes 955rwhp and ive never actually broken a gearbox. Have had issues with tailshafts/converters etc etc, but the box has withheld quite abit. I would either go T400 or C4 etc. Dont really like powerglides for the street. A mate has a powerglide and on the street, sometimes your going 2 fast for 1st gear, but 2 slow for 2nd gear if you want to give it a hit. Speak to some gearbox shops and see what they recommend.
  25. George, they are dead quiet.
