I think people on this thread need to point out what model T they have, I had a BA which the previous owner had the center muffler removed and replaced with just straight through pipes and it sounded awesome. Now that I've traded up to an FG I wanted a similar sounding exhaust so I had the center muffler replaced with a hotdog this time, knowing that the FG's were a little louder to begin with and the resuilt was horrible. Nothing like the deep mean sound the BA had, the FG sounded REALLY loud and doughy at around 1700 - 2000 RPM, making it shocking to drive around town. Admiteddly the BA was a manual and now I have the ZF in the FG which probably doesn't help but personally I hated the result.

Never mind, got it out. Slid a bank card inside it, moved it left and right while smashing the eject button and it came out.

Hi guys I borrowed a work ute which has the crappy single disc cd player in it (it's a BA) and I stupidly put one of my CDs in it. It won't play and worse yet it won't eject. How do I get it out? It's a brand new cd which I haven't even listened to once :( Sorry if this has been covered already I'm on my phone with no pc net access so can't really search.

If our registration details are anything to go by it should only come up as a Ford Sedan. I walked into Vic Roads and registered mine on my P's and they didn't say a word. Perhaps this is why. As for these laws, I don't care anymore. I have a real license now. If anything, I am all FOR these new restrictions. Perhaps now not as many 18 year olds will have better cars than me.

Got annoyed last night with laggy response down low in second gear so gave this a go this morning. BA with 99,000, as far as I know it hasn't been done before. Was easy enough to do, feels like it made a bit of a difference but It could just be me slamming my foot into the firewall harder for testing purposes.

Mate, there's one of everything on this forum. I'm a detailer and like your plant, we also use the Mitek software. Been doing it for about 18 months now. There is a hell of a lot to take in, especially if you have no on-site building experience, which I didn't. It can be bloody stressful and of course there's a lot of responsibility put on you, but you probably know this already. It's hard to know whether or not there's a future in it as a career, I'd like to think there is. From detailing you could easily move on to be a draughtsman or something similar. Plus, when you get used to pissed off builders telling you they're gonna punch your face in, you can handle any sort of other customer service jobs the future might hold for you.

I've got the same problem. Had Ford look at it at my last service, said they couldn't find anything, so I've grown to live with it.

My mate had a BA XR6 a couple years ago and he locked the keys in the boot. About 10 minutes of moving hands up and down on the rear passenger window he had it open. He didn't have rear power windows though. Still, I thought being able to do that was pretty dodgy on Ford's behalf.

Jesus, I've seen a lot worse wheels fitted to XR's on this forum, and the owners actually chose those wheels. I reckon these look fine, just needs lowering and bigger brakes.

Nasty. I'm 21 in July but unfortunately didn't get my P's till October. Could be an expensive couple of months.
