    Surging?

You don't need to sit there and warm up the car until it reaches quarter. I'm usually off after half a minute and the car drive normal and smooth. The car should not surge at any time. Power Jet, when was the last time your car had a full service?
  2. stockxr, my car is an 02 BA and has the shifts firmed up via custom tune and for a year was running 248rwkw with no issues. Now I'm at 278rwkw so I'll see how it goes, but I don't race my car. Add a tranny cooler as well. What mods are you planning?
  3. My walbro take alittle longer to start (1 or 2 seconds) but only if its been a few days since I've driven. Most of the time it starts fine.
  4. There's congestion in all the eastern cities (Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney). Good to see Sydney a happy and healthy place, have an uncle who's 85 this year.
  5. I always use an oil that I think the motor really likes. Castrol Edge seems to be like by the ford 6 and is changed every 10 000kms.
  6. looks like your doing all the right mods, especially the actuator/flapper mod. your power output will depend on model/transmission. more details!!
  7. when was the last time it was changed and it discoloured
  8. Well, just got home after getting seperated from the group at Macquarie park shops. Got stuck at the lights then followed Rapid and another T onto the M5 and headed home. It was a great night and it was great to meet some of you. @ rapid: it was me who gave you a "see ya later beep" just before Heathcote Rd
  9. platinum plugs are the go as well as regular servicing
  10. You definitely need a tune when changine the cat or any part if your system. I changed the cat and a tune straight away and have no issues at all. Being a BF you should've just saved up for a flash box and tune to keep you happy until you save up for more mods.

  14. Sounds interesting, but don't have a CB. What type of CB's do you guys use?
  15. I have a BA also. Your injectors and valve springs will be your first restriction. Then your cat, and probably your actuator spring will be as soft as a slinky. They are my experiences. Don't worry about the end power result, it varies from car to car. What's your budget?
