Just wondering if anyone has had the APS phase 2 upgrade or a similar upgrade done and if so how much am I looking at? I am in Sydney so if anyone can give me a few names of shops that could help me out.

It's just the tune then they might pick up. try your tuner first and see what he says.

There is one more spot to check, inside the rear doors, right at the bottom closest to the back where the seams are! had a friends do it and mine is starting to now! my car is 3.5 years old, just got it 2nd hand and has 4 weeks of dealer waranty left, hope they cover it!

Unfortunately FORD won't pay for any new parts to your engine if it is visable to them that it has been modified or if they try to flash your computer and find the stock maping is not what it should be! try taking back to your tuner and see if they can sort out the stalling,maybe even re-tune the maping. By the way, what mods apart from the custom tune do you have?

Cheers for that, yeah, cause I've got it I might give it a lash, but if it's no good or looks dicky I'll put the stocko one back on and just keep it clean.

what is the general feeling of putting a pod filter on an xr6t? I've got some bits I pulled off my last car (05 wrx wagon) Blitz pod filter being one! is it a good idea to use it on my new beast or is a panel filter a better option? by the way, much happier with the xr6t than the wrx(exept the exhaust burble) but have blown away 2 rexy's so far & held pace with mates sti with 207rwkw

It happens all the time, more so when at NOT, not on start-up more than likely because of the higher idle on cold start, it's not too bad but is enough to shake the car every so often and pop out the exhaust. Coould it be a carbon problem in an IAC valve or T body?

just bought an 03 xr6 turbo and is wondering if anyone has experiencd an unstable idle/slight miss? have taken it to ford 3 times to rectify and they just cleared the KAN and said it was ok but the miss is still there. A friend told me all xr6's (turbo or non turbo) have a rough idle. is this true or is there something else going on?
