I bought one from Jaycar (Line Level Converter AA0482) it’s grounded to the same ground point in the boot (on the left side where the other ground point it, I’ve got power but absolutely no sound out of it

Hi, I've just installed a sub and amp to my G6, using a line converter, I have power to my sub, an excellent ground point, the only thing I don't have is any sound coming out of my sub. I followed a guy named Keith which he put up a thing about installing a whole system years ago to his Dad's XR8(?) but I'm at a loss for ideas, any help would be epic.
