  1. Removed the dash on my 03 BA XR6T a few weeks ago to replace the mix door rod, when putting the dash back I unfortunately now have some panel gaps a couple mm big on all the trim but more importantly my airbag light is on. I had read on some other threads that it flashes according to a code but I couldn't see it flashing (could be blind lol) When putting the dash on I did notice there was a spare connector under the steering coloum which I was told didn't need to be connected but I also noticed a White/Black/Red connector near the ICC which I couldn't figure out where it plugged into. I've attached a photo I found on the web of the plug I'm talking about. Any chance this plug is the culprit of my airbag light and where it goes? and does anyone know what plugs I should be checking for connection issues besides the ones under the seats? TIA
  2. 2003 BA XR6, recently had rear cradle switched out with a wrecking XR8 one before sale. Noticed today there is a loud knocking/clicking noise from the rear when reversing. I have the 5 speed manual transmission and expected some noise when reversing but not this much. I also noticed a small oil leak from around the transmission area. I thought maybe the rear bushes are out but I'm not sure if it could be anything else. https://streamable.com/j8a58r <- video of noise reversing. TIA
  3. Thanks for the advice, atm I'm looking at getting a Walbro 255, Venom bolt on 100 cell cat, 42lb Bosch injectors and Crow Cam springs. I want to change the stock intake, intercooler and piping since I find it hideous looking, but if it's not needed for ~270kw could I swap it out later down the track and not need to get a retune, or should I just get everything done at once? Also any recommended tuners for Perth/Bunbury area that don't charge an arm and a leg would be greatly appreciated 🙂
  4. Just got a 5sp manual 2003 BA XR6T with a top and bottom rebuild done ~10,000km ago. Car is stock as a rock, apart from a heavy duty clutch and I was hoping to try and squeeze 270kw at the wheels. I've done some research and so far it's lead to me to believe I need 42lb Bosch injectors, Walbro 460 pump, Autotechnia intercooler, coldside intake/plumping and a dyno tune. However, I'm confused over if I need a highflow cat and upgraded valve springs if I'm trying to push the power I want. I'm trying to stick to a budget and don't want to spend more money than I need to. Any advice would be appreciated, TIA.
