looks a very niiice. I also got the replica off miss ally and too can verify the quality of the product and how easy it is to deal with her. I am about to buy the boost gauge and something else, what what does everything recommend? I see the air/fuel one a waste, so maybe oil temp or water temp?? also whats the whole electonic vs mechanical? one last q, are all the cobalt gauges light up? sorry to thread hijack, just thought would save creatn a new thread for similar talk. damnn, I remeber first goin to the drags and the fuelers were runninf 5.99 and that was quick. sure, it was over 15 years ago but wow. any utube links? this starting to get on par with the yanks, they running low 4.40's, 4.43 or something like that. also remember that 2 years ago they reduced the nitromethane % to try and slow them down cos they were deemed too fast but again they are breaking old records.

the installer left the factiry sub and amp in there but the front splits are pioneer ts-07201ZF/XCN/AU 4ohm.

I'll be able to supply brand and model number this arvo, I'm replacing the facotry 8" sub, front splits, and amp.

so I'm sure thers a lot of us out there who have a bunch of stone chips on the front bar / bonnet. I know the boys at your local paint n panel shops are always good at touch ups and what not but how do they do it? I knows more to it than just gettn a compressor, spray attachment and paint mixed, or is there? the stone chip touchups is the part that most interests me just wondering if theres any good reads out there for hints and tips. cheers

thanks for all the pics and info everyone. one other question for those who have them, can the lights be disassembled to be modified / painted? just wondering if I can fit the chrome strip from the factories instead of the black line (rubber I assume?)

anyone got some piccies of ba's with altezza rears (black or chrome). I searched these forums and only found 1 of a black xr8 with the black tail lights. I've got a blueprint t and wanted to see what the chromes would look like first. also are they legal in aust? I seem to see a few posts about sayn they're illegal due to reflectors or something or rather. cheers

yeah I'm starting to see that apart from stock options there isnt much. odd, very odd. and yes, the wind shield for the drivers window looks funny but the advanti wheels look good.

hey guys, I got quoted from jb's 2 x 12" W1 subs, JL box that will fit up the back of the boot, jl 400w (or was it 600w...) amp and install for $1400, less for cash. This sound about right? He said that the amp also has the high input something or rather as he was aware of the very low (0.4 or 0.5v output for the premium headdeck). This sounding good or I getting taken for a ride?

I've read a fair few of the topics and see people talking about poor/low pre-amp out on the preium icc, is this true? If so, obviously you need to crank the amp a whole bunch more to get decent noise but loosing quality at the same time. Is there a way around this? I've just joined the xr6t lifestlye (both forums and carwise, just ask sutty...) and looking for some extra bass (amazing its the fiance who wants the bass). I'm not really keen to add a second head deck, would rather just mod/upgrade the original. I see reference to the alpine vechile hub as well but I wasnt sure if that was just extra inputs/outputs or if it will achieve what I'm after in relation to sub/amp. Also, any recommednations on would goes well size wise? Are 2 x 10's a better choice than 2 x 12's???? Or is it worth the investment. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello all, I'm only new but I must confess, I am the luckly buyer and must say a beautiful car to drive. I got the missus in it tonight as she will drive it on occasion and wanted her know the end results if the right pedal was pushed. She was impressed, scared then impressed again and likes the little "whoosh" noise. Thanks for Phil for making it an easy transaction, and a pleasure to meet. Hey guys and girls, I've got a T with the premium sound package. I've been reading through alotttt of posts about different options and just wonderred whats the best way to go. I've had a squiz at the Alpine Hub and looks pretty good but I also see JVC have 6" Screen. Has anyone put one of these in and made a custom console?
