My TomTom has my contacts, can read my sms' to me, can display pictures, can make calls, can plug into my stereo and play MP3's, and also has a GPS.... Looks like the iPhone is inferior to my TomTom and its atleast 12months old now! I guess some people seem to have to justify their bad decision making skills by trying to talk up the piece of poo they have recently bought... Must be user error if you think the Blackberry's are clunky...

Ive already got a touch screen mobile of my own, so its nothing new to me. Its sh*t, as im constantly on the move, up and down, crawling around places. I dont want to worry about dropping the brick on my delicate toes and having to take a few days off work It's sh*t because you clowns jump on the hype bandwagon and have a spank over a bit of electricery.... It's sh*t coz I dont need an iPod with a phone in it... Its sh*t because it doesnt interface with the FG Bluetooth... Its sh*t because I freakin dont have to be a sheep like you and cant develop my own opinion on it. Follow the heard... that's ok, I dont support Workgroups, so we will never cross paths.
-
I would hope its not a user error, considering I manage enterprise network infrastructures... iPhone is sh*t, pure and simple... good in theory but I dont like my mobile being the same size as a brick!

Got an iPhone, and it blows chunks weighs a tonne and is awkward to use... I've got an iPod Touch for music, so I'm glad its actually the work who bought the iPhone. Will settle on my blackberry pearl as being the real deal...

Looks pretty dodgy, should have not wasted your time...

Add to that, where do most OEM wheels come from too? Alloy wheels are soft in general and can be damaged easily, I've seen plenty of Ford and Expensive Daewoo OEM rims that are smashed after being hit up a bump or after an accident et al. If you want to be 100% sure of the quality of your rims, use steel or billet, neither of which are offered OEM by Ford in their 'mag' range. I say buy them, and ignore the negative comments about how they are inferior to the already average FPV products.
-
Wheelmags is a sponsor on Ford Forums, and has a retail shop. Those and the other copies are on many vehicles with little to no problems with them. FPV crank up the prices on their products, every manufacturer does. I wouldnt hesitate.

I would count my lucky stars that I'm not lying in a ditch somewhere smashed into a tree and can't move... OK OK that's worse case scenario. I'd say go tighten your nuts, and toughen up and move on with it... Isn't there something better to do than loose sleep over a piss poor matter?

Ah k... I prefer the look without them, nice and clean... Although on a hot day driving for a while, its good to lift up your shorts and cool ya balls :D :D

Evening, I've just noticed that my boss' BA MKII XR8 has air vents in the silver panel that point to your knees, and have seen a few others like this. But in my MKII XR6 Turbo I don't have those vents. I have premium sound and he doesn't... Whats the deal with that? South

Senna is on the money. FPV won't release the item to spares without the details. I'm in WA if it makes any difference. Any FPV owner here able to give me a hand? Cheers Ryan

Afternoon All, I am wanting to get my hands on an FPV guage pod, direct from ford. Can someone please help me with a build vin number and fpv number. Let me know if I can do anything for you in return. PM me the details. They are now off back order and ready to be purchased, I'm only interested in the FPV Pod aswell. Thanks Ryan

Converting My Xr6t To Lpg
South replied to Inducted_Breeze's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
Good to see you can follow maths The government rebate was put in for one reason only, so that in a short time they will cash in BIG time when they slam down huge taxes on it. Diesel used to be cheaper than ULP by a fair amount, not its considerably more expensive because it is now mainstream... Gas is used at a greater rate. People look at a 1:1 ratio, and then do the math on the probable savings... its all wrong... Most people sell their car before the savings show any advantage. Oh well, everyone is different. -

So here in WA, we get the federal rebate of $2k and then we get a state rebate of $1k for a gas conversion, which then leaves $1.8k for you to hand over in cash. The price of LPG is rising so it wont be long till its around $1 a litre, so what is the benefit, how many years will it take for you to break even and then start to save? It would be an instant saving if the 3k covered it... -
I bet your upgrade works far far far better than the above though... you've put what would be a brembo 6 pot upgrade on the falc, into your mini. I want a mini, mmmmm

I've been looking for a reasonably priced Twin Daytona USA arcade setup to have in my home. Love that game, cheapest I have found is 5k Want it baaaaaaaaaaad!

Time for me to find one at a bargain price. I bought one of the very last black/grey AU MOMO wheels for my EF, had it for a year in the car and it was as new as the day fitted, managed to sell it for $450... Too many things to buy, not enough time in the day

Hey All, Well I've finally gotten my car back from the panel shop 7 wks later! Anyways, the day I was rear ended, Ford machined my front rotors and I only got to drive about 20kms on it till the acco. So driving today, I can hear wooshing and clunking on the front right corner, pulled the wheel off tonight, and the rotor can freely be moved, and the caliper has about 4mm worth of for/aft movement in it. Is this incorrectly fitted? South

Not having a dig, but you ask so many open questions that no one here can really answer. How much for this, whats best for that, how much to turbo my n/a, how much to trade it in, can't afford it buying a house et al. It's time you rang places that deal with the questions you want answering... its quicker to dial 8 numbers and ask, than it is to type for a minute or two and not receive a proper answer.

I've fitted the largest PWR to the top right between cooler and radiator. I have an F6 Intercooler fitted, there is a few mm's at the bottom, and maybe 6mm at the top for clearance. Ten times easier fitting it there, than making up some el cheapo dodgy brackets to put it in the guard.

The place is a massive construction site, nothing is complete, you cannot see very far as the sky is full of dust and smog. You can barely see that 7 star hotel from the mall of emirates, and to be honest its not a very far distance! It smells, everything is moulding away due to the climate. Go inside a hotel to escape it all, and lay on the bed, and it stinks worse than outside... and this was no cheap hotel either... Guess I expected more from it, and I'm glad I was only there for a total of 3 days!
-
The Mall of Emirates is F'ing massive, when we were the in Novemeber, I had 3hrs to look see, and in that time all I could so is walk up and down the rows, managed to walk into 5 stores and have a look around, otherwise not enough time to see the whole place. Freakin has a snow field in it too, crazy bastards... Dubai is a sh*t hole though, you'd have to pay me to go back...

I service mine every 7.5k inbetween the actual Ford Service. This is just Oil and Oil Filter and TB and Boost solenoid et al. If another company screw up and you lunch your motor, would you rather Ford fit in an already built short motor, or some muppet at autobahn screw together a new motor for you?!? I would rather pay the extra to know if they f*ck it, they will fix it at their expense. Peace of mind really... With that said, some spanker rear ended my 2hrs after I put $700 into servicing the car, and that was 3 wks ago now, and I still have to wait another 1.5wks grrrrrrrrrrrr

I've heard good things about Baileys Automatics in Balcatta. Worked on a mates VL V8 3 speed auto, and from what I recall the silver T that now has a full sequential in it was built up by them also... it was a 4 speed...
