  1. IIRC there was info posted about the type of bearing earlier in the thread.
  2. I think the OP has his answer... And some other valuable advice.
  3. The photos might not be of the exact car. That happens a lot of carsales. They probably just used photos they had of another car in the same colour.
  4. Please don't create multiple accounts to ask the same question. Your other account has been banned.
  5. Same thing as any other tuner. You buy a new motor.

    Mining Jobs

Do a search. There's an existing thread with a lot of info on mining jobs in it.
  7. Central Ford in Kilmore.
  8. My first car was an EF. I then bought a BA XR6T ute and then a BF MkII XR6T sedan. I've only had Fords but I'm not against anything else. I've just preferred the styling, function and performance of the Fords compared to the other large sedans or utes available. My next car is looking like it will either be a Subaru or VW as my needs have changed from a large performance sedan.
  9. Must own a Mazda 3 if sales figures are important to you.
  10. We're car fans that can appreciate a nice car no matter what the brand. We're not one eyed Ford fans who will just blindly purchase whatever Ford decides to serve up to us.
  11. Finally a Late model camira with clean flowing lines. I never was a fan of the squared off look they've been running with since the VY. That silly hand brake handle is gone and replaced with what appears to be a switch operated system. I'm not so sure on the ICC area. I think it could've been a lot cleaner without so many knobs are dials. Tech appears to be well ahead of the Falcon which is selling at all time lows already and this will only further add to its demise.
  12. That's the Pot calling the Kettle Black.
  13. I don't think there would be many tuners who just upgrade a tune from a previous tuner. They would have no idea what they're getting themselves into without going over the entire tune. Starting off with one of their own tunes would be far less time consuming and far safer.
  14. I think you take it far too personally. You should never do anything for everyone else's satisfaction. Especially those faceless forum people. Seriously, who does that? It should always be about what you want. You just have to accept that when you put something on the net opinions will be given. Some people are going to like it and some aren't. They're not bagging you, they just have different tastes.
  15. Might as well fark it right up with various pink bits too.
  16. Jet, businesses have to cover their overheads. That's a whole separate debate. I don't think you can argue ownership from a legal stand point as there's just nothing (as far as I'm aware) to cover this type of scenario. As far as I'm concerned I paid for the tune and that tune is mine. It's custom to my car and I'm free to do with it whatever I please. However! My moral compass dictates that I would never let someone else take the tune for their own use or even take the tune just to look at because I respect the work and effort of my chosen tuner. I also want to keep the relationship I have with that tuner intact. A few years ago there was a group of stooges pressuring other car owners that had their cars cars tuned at the higher profile shops to let a certain person "suck out" the tune in the car so he could look at it. The purpose of this was to discredit the higher profile shops... Talk about morals!
  17. It already has a cooler in it. The stock cooler uses the coolant to draw the heat out of the trans fluid. The issue that happens with some of these coolers is that they can split and leak coolant into the trans which if not detected very quickly will spell the end for the trans.
  18. This car has a stock fuel setup.
  19. I think turbotrana's scenario is the perfect world. It could easily go to sh*t if the people taking the tunes and then making changes don't have a sound understanding of what they're doing.
  20. I think it's safe to say BMW didn't care about either when they designed this car.
  21. It's not stealing customers. Those people have a choice to stay with the original tuner or not. Every day people try and get us to change phone companies or power/gas companies. Do you ever refer to that as stealing? Personally I wouldn't leave any tuner to have Rapid tune my car. Too many bad customer service reports for my liking, but that's just my own opinion. If he wants to tune then he's perfectly within is rights to do so. He can also market himself to anyone he likes.
