Ford select cars off the production line for random testing, quality control and all that, this is why some cars have a higher number of km's than others. When the dealer gets the car it has a sticker on it stating the car was picked for random testing. I know of one dealer who had an order for a pursuit ute and was under instructions not to drive the ute at all, they had to push it around, change the oil and then the buyer was picking it up on a tow truck so he could put it in his shed and look at it, crazy I know, and guess what................it was selected for random testing, he was one happy camper as you can imagine.
