Yes, these cars are the best! As for the colour, I'll confess I like the HgAg, but for some reason it just doesn't suit the ute me thinks.....and that's what I got!

I can't comment on your question but I know it's been said before that the auto reinforcing will be revealed when the testing and pricing has been concluded. As for the self promotion, APS is more than entitled to do so, after all APS is a sponsor of this site and consequently pay the sponsorship fees. Unlike other tuning companys. And no I don't have any APS products, but I'm greatful that Peter can share his expertise with us, whether we buy APS or not.

This is true! I was recently told of a guy who blew a diff and stuffed an input shaft or something like that, and a guy from FOMOCO, not a dealer denied the warranty claim...why....he had removed the centre muffler! HOW HARSH IS THAT!!! It's not even a big performance enhancing mod or related to the parts in question.

I fear that the current GT/GT-P will suffer badly for resale in a few years, due to the continuing development of these vehicles. The FPV vehicles are brand new, there development has only just started and I think that they will go forward in leaps and bounds in the next few years, take the HSV's for example it wasn't that long ago that the clubbie had 225kw, now she's packin 285. Or take the T series cars you buy one with the 220kw engine only to find the same engine dropped into the XR8 at the next series upgrade. And the horsepower war has never been hotter, it's going to keep getting hotter. Just my 2 cents.

Question.....Could a convertible monaro, really be called a monaro? Sure it might be built off the same platform as the monaro coupe, but a convertible not's what the monaro is all about........is it? Just my 2 cents.

I would have thought that the Ford guys would have enough smarts to build an engine with plenty of potential in it without bolt on mods considering it's only a new engine in development terms.

Guys as FORDTECH stated it only takes a 16-20km before the car starts adjusting values. It's not really that long before things start to change. And like he said the PCM is making subtle changes to these values so chances are you won't even notice it.

How much oil do you put in your T's? The owners manual says 7 litres, but now when I check the oil when the engines cold it's over full. Now I'm worried because I read recently that over filling the oil can cause damage in some engines. I thought that maybe once the engine is started the excess oil is taken up by the filter and the oil lines for the turbo?

They look very similar but I don't think it's a Territory the shape isn't quite the same the windscreen looks to sloped back and the bum seems a bit rounder. But I don't think there's any question that the designs of the Freestylehas been designed with the Territory in mind or visa versa. Good find

From what I've heard Ford will be following the same lines as Expensive Daewoo is and releasing new "hero" colours more frequently. I think the times of colours having a long run might be coming to an end. I doubt that because a colour is dropped it will make the cars resale any higher, the BA isn't a rare car in any colour.
