  1. These are Ford factory specials: '03 build utes currently have $1000 dollars worth of accessories thrown in based on fitted RRP of accessories. '03 build XT sedans currently have a saving of over $5000 based on RRP including auto, optional 17" wheels, body kit and high arch spoiler. Hope this helps :tosser:

  4. my thoughts precisely !! I think the APS phase I would still be better and at a fraction of the price I couldn't agree more with you guys. I think the only reason for the 280kw is because of where it has to sit in the pecking order in the FPV range. After all it couldn't have more herbs than the flagship GT and GTP. As we know from the XR6T and XR8 the FPVT will be quicker than the GT providing the GT doesn't get a kick in the arse aswell!

  6. No, at this time the program can't be modified. And no, the police cars don't run a different program, they are completely stock
  7. I'll be at the FPV day for sure! It was great last year and I'm sure it will be even better this year with FPR being open to the public as well.
  8. OK guys, ENOUGH! I understand what's happened here. Since CNC quoted CDM's post about pricing vs kw gain CDM thought CNC was refering to a conversation that they had together, whereas CNC actually was refering to a conversation he had with Peter from APS I'm assuming. Is this correct? Now be nice!

  11. Your exactly right alxrt, even the sound system is the same. What I was trying to point out is that many of the components are new release across the entire BA range, and many BAs seem to have little glitches which are rectified quickly and without any further problem, then there is the occasional car that just seems to be riddled with problems that are intermittent and not so readily rectified. If you get one of those cars you need to make a choice between patience, persistance, and/or your sanity. And as for my impression of the T, I already have a deposit paid for a series 2, just gotta wait till November. Love the cars, but a bad one can drive you loopo. Cool, I know what you mean, it would drive you crazy. It amazes me how one car can go all so wrong! I think they throw all the dodgy bits in the corner and when there's enough there they slap a car together and sell it to some poor ba$tard! :lol:
  12. You talk as though the GT's are a complete other car, underneath the GT would be made from the same electronic components as the XR6T, and the rest of the BA range for that matter.
  13. Good luck mate! A tad dear in my opinion for a car that's done 23500kms by the time you calculate the gov't fees into it! Spend an extra 3-4k and buy a new one!

    Hambo_12, you poor, poor little fellow! So you've saved up for so long and now have found your not quite there. So instead of buying something else that fits the current budget why don't you just keep that XF (or whatever) that your driving and keep saving until the budget does work out. I don't see the point in buying another car now when your 3 quarters of the way there to your goal. Your only going to put yourself further behind in the long run because you will lose $$$ on the car your thinking of buying now and then selling it later for the XR6T. Gritt your teeth, suck it up, kick that XF bucket in the guts and keep saving mate, the extra wait is worth it, take it from me, I had to do the same thing!

  19. Why let it shift at the limiter? At the limiter the torque curve is dropping off so wouldn't it be better to shift while your still pumping out maximum torque, at 4750rpm I think it is? How do those G-Tech things work anyway?
