Billion make good products. Mine has been flawless. Apparently Fritzbox are the ducks nuts. Whirlpool forums are great for this type of question. Forget the chain store brands like Netgear, DLink and Belkin.

Sandown is a painful place to watch the 500. Phillip Island was much better IMO. I see the people writing the rules have had too much time on their hands again... What a strange qualifying setup.

The boats in a very interesting topic. SO many people I work with think all these boats should be blown out of the water because they're entering the country illegally. They have no idea about the UNHCR and the rights of asylum seekers. They only know what the mainstream media tells them.

Depression (along with other mental illnesses) can actually be due to chemical imbalances in the brain. It has nothing to do with how "tough" someone is. They have no control over that without the help of medical drugs. It's easy to be ignorant...

The company has invested quite a bit of money in me with training and qualifications, so I'm hoping they realise that. I'm also the team leader, so my day to day role is pretty important. Nothing is certain though given the high ratio of redundancies.

We all got pulled aside today to be told 9 people (out of about 20) will be made redundant on Tuesday and they'll finish on Friday. Defence is slashing funding everywhere and we need to trim 1000 hours per month. 3 weeks for every year of service, 4 weeks notice and pro rata long service leave. The longest serving employees would be entitled to about 35 weeks. I sure hope I'm not one of the 9.
