hi and welcome reckon the XT might be lighter the times quoted in the car magazines are always to be taken with a grain of salt, but an XT I've driven was definately quicker than the XR6n/a I'd still pick the XR over the XT ... good to be comfortable

I think I got one somewhere ....and I'd reckon it would be worth about $1200 or thereabouts for a 2nd hand one

if the car is stock, it is a FoMoCo problem, not yours !! not your role to prove ADR compliance on a factory standard car good luck and make as much NOISE as you can

great day and the weather remained good .... some classic rides to looked at and admired

luck is a fine line, sometimes things go good and sometimes things go bad ... been there in the rain at night driving along and then "boost" plus "slight movement of steering wheel" ... I covered 4 lanes in all and missed everything ending up in a turning lane on the opposing traffic side after sliding through an opening in the median strip ..... that fine line again as mentioned by others .... let this be a lesson/warning for everyone .... it all happens in a blink of an eye glad to hear you are OK which is the main thing
