  3. I've tired both ways lately and I believe that with TC on you can get away very cleanly. the TC is alot better than was was in the BA - BF. But with TC off I tend to get too excited and smoke the rears, not the best thing to do on a car with 600km.lol
  4. Drift is great, tight setup under the car, good tyres up front from turn in. I had heaps of fun in my T drifting, miss that car now :(
  5. I had a PWR raditor in you BAII Turbo which worked great cooled the car down really quick. An Intercooler will make a different, cooler inlet temps means more power and better cooling eff. When I had my standard intercooler on warm days I would get two or three hard runs then it would back off and the engine temp would go up. I played with a custom bonnet with skyline style vents in the bonnet, was good sitting at the lights all the heat came out but on the move it had a neg effect and didn't allow the hot air to get out. Go for the oil cooler and do something with the sump, it will make a big difference and keep you car from going bang. I just brought a FG turbo, just getting some pedders coilovers in, some rims and some brembo's. I'll hit the track then. Darwin is hot but we get about 3-4 laps so that should look after the car somewhat.

  7. PWR also make a larger unit too, alot taller comes up behind the grill. Fitting one to my car very soon.
  8. Get the 6 spot jobs but you'll need a xr 18 as a min and they won't fit behind most rims. expensive too.

Tyre rubber for each rim e.g. 235/45/17 dunlop sp3000a 5. Did you lip your guards, No 6. photo of rims if possible 7. are rims staggered offset. no Because alloys are gay!!! lol kidding, but steels take a beating
  11. Cool, but I think it's down to either plazamaman (1000hp) or rapid drift spec. with all the induction kit etc.. Just to decide which one.. got to think now..
  12. Cool thanks to all, I was leaning towards the Rapid kits.. But if a manifold is not required I will stay clear for now.. I have had 272rwkw, with a monza cooler, value springs, catback, and filter f6 intake. standard injectors.. Herrod tune.. Biggest is the best with intercooler on these things.. cheers
  13. What do I go with, I want a full kit... To many brands, was thinking about going with Chris from rapids kits.. Should I do the manifold too... I have no idea and I'm lost... I'm going to drift and race he car, so if that helps. I'm only after about 300rwkw.. I make 265 now... ANY HELP would be great..
  14. I ran a 13.5 at 112mph in Darwin with 30deg night... I make about 260rwkw... Autos are much faster... Good temps and good driver should see a high 12... good luck bro
  15. Was wondering if I require a surge tank.. basically I'm looking at some drift with some track work.. I'm up grading the injectors just woundering if I should run a surge tank with a pump and use the stock one as a feeder? I'm after about 300rwkw BA MKII Would I get away with running a walbro intank pump?
  16. I made 272rwkw and made like 710nm, so I would think around the 600nm mark.. Basically enough to shred your tyres..
  17. Man I feel you pain, I found puddle of water under my car... Pump screwed.... Mind you a pump cost me $130 and the pulley was $20.... Cost me $200 to get done...

  21. Dave, have a look at my car in the for sale part. that's the height you car should sit... Your car looks high though. Also don't get a body kit, fiberglass cracks and chip easy...

  23. Yeah tune box from capa should provide any problems... You will find that you pick up a bit more power with some simple mods.... The big thing you need to remember is when you go back to stock after having a tune you need to rev you car a bit more.... lol The torque you make will be the most impresive thing.. I make 720nm.... love it...
  24. The only thing from monza that works ok is the replacement intercooler dude. Go for turbosmart...
  25. Dave, I don't like either of those rims... Go for a staggered set of 19's. Look at tempetyres site... Dale
