  1. For some reason I love these rims and think they'll go great with my Red T with Dark tinted windows: I know they're 18's but I don't want to go any higher for insurance purposes, so aside from that, what do you guys think?
  2. I PAID 99.5c A LITRE LAST NIGHT (non discounted). Thought that was worthy of a mention. Can't remember the last time its been that low. Anyone else had the pleasure of filling up with low priced fuel?
  3. I try and fill up on E10 too, but have noticed that E10 (95ron) isn't as smooth as 95ron standard fuel. My previous car, which was a 2001 MX5 was tuned to be ran at 95ron, and it pinged when on E10 95ron, so I was a bit puzzled by that. But the T runs fine on E10, but since fuel is getting so cheap (relatively) I might start putting in 98ron ethanol.
  4. I'm with CGU Insurance (I work for em so get a discount hehe), I'm 23, rating 1, no previous claim history and am paying $50p/m ($630 p/a). Without a discount, a 23 yr old, rating 1 in Metro QLD is coming up at $70p/m ($850p/a).
  5. Which power output are you referring to though? The one behind the fuse box? But in answer to your question it does come with fairly detailed instructions so you should be able to fit it yourself with any drama. ← Sorry, I meant the power out (near the tissue holder). There's nothing plugged in there.
  6. Haha I know, seems a bit ridiculous considering all the other things I should be wanting to know. I've got a mate who's got an XR6T so have been getting info off him about intercooler upgrades and also talking to him about how strict the stock ECU is. But was curious about the IPOD connection. Anyway, picked the car up last night, and there was no box connected to the power output, so I'm guessing it hasn't been installed. Do I just go to a local ford dealership and buy it off the shelf and plug it in? Or is it something that needs to be installed? But geez its a nice car to drive. Didn't seem as responsive as my friends manual (mines an auto), but is just beautiful to drive. I traded in a 2001 MX5, so the feel of the car is completely different. I don't feel as connected to the road as I did in the 5, but it's excellent in nearly every other way. Comfortable, powerful, handles very well, gets heaps of looks and seems to have a lot of potential if I want to waste all my money on it. hehe So yeah, first on the list is a set of 19" black rims, superlows and a window tint. Second on the list is an ECU upgrade, cat back exhaust and intercooler replacement. I feel broke already.
  7. Ah wicked. Thanks guys.
  8. Thanks for the info guys... Will I be able to tell if it's already been installed?
  9. Hi everyone, I'm a happy new owner of a 2004 XR6t. Picking it up tonight. It's got leather, sunroof, premium sound and its an auto sedan. Very happy about finding one with all the little extras. Just a quick question though, I'm an IPOD nut, and was searching through your posts and read that the Premium Sound has an "Aux Input". Is this input standard with the premium sound, and where is it located? I've already got a Belkin line out kit for my Ipod, so Im hoping to find out where to plug the line in cable... Can't live without my ipod. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys
