  1. Radiator isn't blocked. And the gauge got up to 3/4 coming up a hill. If it's an air lock how does one bleed the awesome self bleeding ford system? Just had a look and I am thinking maybe the bottom radiator hose is collapsing when it's hot and revs are up over 2k.it has cooled down quite a bit and the hose sucks in just from revving in neutral. The hose actually looks oval shaped
  2. And what temp are the fans meant to come on and where to they get there temp info to turn them on?
  3. I will bench test it first. I did replace it with a stock replacement too
  4. Hi guys. First time barra owner here, come from an rb and ls background go easy. So a week ago my manual xr6 turbo Ute overheated. Only got it the weekend previous to that. Went over 3/4 on the gauge and got to like 118 on an app via obdmx+. Figured it must be the thermostat so I changed it out and whole doing so gave the water pump pulley a wiggle and found it had heaps of play so I replaced that too (C#*t of a job too. More than "just 4 bolts" lol. So I had the job done and ran the car, let it sit and warm up, would only get just past 1/4 on the gauge and sit on about 86 or so in the app. Not even hot enough for the fans to come on. Figured yay it's fixed. Well no! Just now it got up to the 118 mark again going up a hill. Pulling over brings it back down but hovers around the 100 mark. It's just too hot. No leaks. No Coolant loss. No oil in the Coolant. No Coolant in the oil. No Coolant smell from the exhaust. And no fuel smell in the Coolant. Also the fans do come on when it was super hot but they turned off before it had got back down under 100. Any help will be muchly appreciated
