About Ucdebz

  1. Hi All. I recently found a set of doors for for my fg xr6 turbo that were a match colour-wise, once installing them I noticed that they came of a G6E with the mirror memory and different loom to accommodate the blinkers on the mirrors so I picked up a set of these, MIRRORS PAIR ELECTRIC SUIT FG FALCON WITH INDICATOR LIGHTS DOOR SIDE REAR VISION | eBay only problem im facing now is that I cannot get the mirror motor control to work, anyone here have any experience with this situation and know of a fix? or point in the direction of someone Melbourne based that can fix the issue? THANKS!
  2. Sounds like a vacuum leak to me, with the herrod intake you should hear it sucking on hard acceleration but not much on letting off accelerator as stock bov is plum back. I had the same problem you are describing when I fitted my intercooler piping, forgot to tighten a hose clamp and it popped off, if it's before throttle body it's not really unmetered air so it won't run rough but mine ran like it had no turbo
  3. Done, thanks again [emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

  5. Hello everyone Looks like the bearings on my turbo ( Fg MK2) are gone, you can hear them when the car is turned off and the turbo is spinning down I'm looking to get it rebuilt with the following in Melbourne https://www.pulsarturbo.com.au/products/pulsar-gtx3576r-new-gen-drop-in-chra-for-ford-falcon-fg-gt3576r-upgrade Any thoughts on going down this path? And any recommendations where to get done in Melbourne would be much appreciated. On a side note, I have been a long time lurcher on this site and would like to contribute, I have got my hands on the Haynes service manual for this car and it's a massive help so anywhere I can upload this?
