Easy mate , next question is. Is the torge converter salvagavleable on the milkshaked trans atall? Or bin that too?

So my daily has milkshaked . Fg turbo, can I put a na trans and converter in it ? Will it handle just fine ? It's 300rkw , finding a turbo box here is impossible and the few that are up are upwards of 3k for a high kms box unbelievable. Have Hurd they can fit and be fine just double checking. On a plus side finished my f6 build made 474rkw , blody stoked , 🙌

Found it was a bolt in subframe completely missing went and got one and nipped it up , sound gone. Was the rear left so was definitely that side just wasn't the brakes as first thought stoked its sorted what a blody project that's been. Running great now no codes ect. New turbo and fule system on the way hope to make 450 then cert , exciting

So looked at brakes isn't them. Still making the noise

I swaped over the f6 , done all internals to engine all was well to first drive, is making a out the gate noise from front left side , I don't think I can attach file of it as it's to big but do you have a fb I can send it to or something try get a diagnostic on it ? Sounds like if you put a bottle in spokes on a push bike not quite as Loud as that but sounds like a duller version of that. When car is stationary can rev it with no abnormal sounds , as soon as I'm moving under load it does it , Have raised it of the ground and put in drive and it has not made the noise atall smooth as butter, applied hand brake and making a wicked knock from rear left and side brake , brembo chances it's shuttering through the car due to abs working its job? Only happens after 2krpm while driving on the road

So I've Valve springs , head studs , oil pump gears , hd timing chain kit, now looking at what turbo , had a buddy just do a build with the 3584 external but for me was a bit laggy, now was thinking of going gen 2 3582 and going waste gate on a actuator spring in stead of external , but know they Can be a nightmare on stock boost controllers, so what I'm asking is best exhaust, spring and boost controler setup would suit best to minimise spike and lag. do I need to port the rear hosung and get larger flapper ? Psr 3582 gen 2 ? Goal is 450kw . Know it's pushing it yes will be a good time not a long time , f6 engine fg.

So I've done the swap over to a na chasi if you've seen past posts. Done Valve springs Head studs Oil pump gears Hd timing chain and backing plate 1000 cc injectors e85 460walbro e85 Gt3584r gen 3 turbo external gate 4 inch dump cat to 3.5 inch cat back 800hp intercooler and alloy pipe kit , Now my question is whatd be the max power I should push on stock rods ? Is a 2009 fg f6

Have a diff I brought out of a xr6 turbo fg has cracked backing plate, brought it for a g6e turbo fg , my question is will the backing plate from the open diff on the g6e fit the fg lsd diff ?

Yeah , just about to swap all over . Just curious if the na loom has all sensor ports for it to be plug and play

I've brought a 2008 f6 that can't be registered here in nz , well it can but just headaches . I'm wanting to swap the whole lot over bar loom to a na chasi , would this be doable and would I have to add bits here and there to sopourt the turbo system? I can buy a legal na fg for 6k and hoping it'll be a pretty straight ford swap over

Perfect , was going to swap littarly everything over the rear sub frame , tail shaft , body kit , motor , interior everything , 👌 , car has 90,000km and can get it for a steal , so figure I'll never be able to afford a road legal f6 so it'll be next best thing , essentially a full f6 on my fg turbo chashi haha , 😄,

I'm in nz , needs a damage cert becuse it was damaged and fixed in aus then imported here . In theory would swapping everything over work fine ? Or would it need to be flashed becuse of the swap , ? Figure if there both Same year swapping everything over should be turn key over good to go,

Cheers bud I too have nolothane bushes so will check there about 25xxxkms old so could well be but now I just do pulls with out traction control on and have no issues atall , but I think a axel may be on its way out when I go to turn I hear like thuds not all the time but when I pull out slow or something never does it at speed , and I'm too cheap to take it to a shop to diagnose 🤣

Hey buddy got a fg of Market place he was told had check engine on for new exhaust , he didn't bother to check took his word for it , anyways has 3 codes none of them for exhaust, P1383 P1386 P1388 Where do I start to try resolve this bro got skunked and just trying to help him out ,had cams and timing chain guid done by the Ford shop in March , so sensors maybe?

Last month or so some times when I go to do a pull and change from first to seccond it clunks in the rear end and flickers the traction light on and of a couple times and has 0 power when I hit seccond bogs out I come of the gass shift down then back to seccond and goes fine again? Doesn't happen much just occasionally just curious if this is diff or gear box ?

One of the brake hoses on my fg has been damaged and finding it hard to find a replacement . No where sells new here have to get from aus. Anyway heaps of ba and bf wrecks around was curious if the hose would link up properly to my fg brakes ? , it's rear drives side at the back

That's absolutely correct bud. Was more trying to see if anyone knew if abs could cause it to try lock up mid skid ? That's what it sounded like anyway so ended up stopping.
