I’ve recently purchased a fg turbo. With a built motor. Specs, manly, rods and pistons, crow cam valve springs, billet pump gears, pressure relief valve, acl bearings, car is tunned to 420 kw on 98 by precision racing. 1000cc Bosch injectors, 460 walbro, gfb fuel pressure gauge, 23 psi boost. Car drives amazing but for long periods of driving. And when stopping in park the idle gets real lumpy and the car shakes but goes back to normal after it idles for a few minutes or when the car is turned off and back on. Really stuck and not sure what’s going on. Only hoping it’s tune related not timing related

@k31th you can definitely hear the popping noise it happens 1 or 3 times while it’s hitting boost and with just hold the revs and won’t go anywhere then 5 seconds later it would boost hard. So you think it’s a tune issue?

Car Is having boosting issues especially when cold new plugs new coils, when driving it seems that the revs get stuck and a popping noise can be heard from the turbo side but then hits boost straight after that. Car has a few mods bigger fuel pump, injectors, exhaust, external wastegate, side turbo intake, after market intercooler, and a screamer and is also on 12 psi of boost would love some advice to lead me to the right direction cheers

@k31thyeah definitely doesn’t sound like it’s a box problem as wasn’t making any harsh noises or thumps the car was just juddering like it was getting no fuel or could be another issue but I’ll first talk to my tuner. Cheers

@k31thjust your basic na stuff. Has exhaust, diff gears, tuned gearbox. Also the motor is off a fg but has the b series intake manifold strapped to it

So I was racing my mate in my car car had low fuel about a 100 ks left on the tank but don’t trust it 100% and we were going up hill got up to 120 and the car would just judder. I did it again on flat surface and it didn’t do it would this be because of low fuel and then fuel cutting it cause there isn’t much fuel. would be great if anyone knows car is a xr6 bf zf with a new gear box and motor
