All this talk about what will be a collectors car is really a moot point. The electronics in these cars wont last long enough for them to become a collectors item. Older models being machanical can generally be serviced to run for ever. Where will I get a new computer for a bf in 30yrs? thoughts?

Hi all, A little advice , Bf XR6t late06 colour toxic(gt green?) . Paint around fuel filler is sh$t , you can almost see the undercoat. I Noticed problem week or so after delivery , when washing the car. The question I have is , 1. if I get ford/dealer to respray how noticeable will it be vs will it rust etc where paint is thin? Most people can only see it when shown where to look and it dosent really bother me if it isn't going to be long term problem (rust out etc) 2. I got the car done with a clear coat(dimension4 they called it ?) would ford re apply extra coat after re spray??? or would this be wishful thinking???? I know it's mostly digital noise in photo but ,still looks like problem.

15K service $290, large workshop in Geelong , they were supprised that exhaust manifold bolts needed to be tightened as part of hand book service Ford service might be $$$$$ and performed by apprentices , but at least they're aware it needs to be done ,whether they do it or not's a diff storey!
