  1. Hi guys Just wanted some guidance on this. I've got an xr6t fg sedan which has been written off and I'm wanting to transfer all the stuff from that to a donor car which was a manual xr6t. Just curious will the auto shifter bolt on normally or are there things that need to be done to make it work since its a manual shell and im not too sure if both the manual and the autos have the same size shifter surrounds? same bolting patterns? Thank you
  2. thanks for that mate. also a quick follow up do you reckon the icc also needs to be swapped? also regarding the body harnesses are they the same in both the sedans and the utes? currently stuck on the wiring issue and kinda split minded if I should continue with this.
  3. hey there I had a crashed fg turbo ute and decided to swap out all the parts over to the na fg sedan. motor, ecu, gearbox, new lsd diff because ute diff is solid axel, tailshaft and cv shafts. however there is no communication between the pcm and the rest of the car and our guess is because the sedan previously had a 5 speed auto and we put the zf6 in we need to swap the body looms from the sedan's to the ute because the ute was a 6 speed. after doing that will the car be able to atleast communicate let alone start?
  4. hey there. I got an xr6 turbo ute diff and I was wondering if I could use any part of it on the sedan. got a fg xr6 na sedan which uses the m78. could I possibly swap the gears? any modifications that could be done for it to work since its m78 and 86? ive got the zf6 box in the ute and a 5spd on the sedan. im swapping over all of the stuff on to the sedan from the ute as the thing crashed but the engine still works. so I also need the diff as I dont know how long an m78 would last with the turbo engine? cheers
