I just got a replacement cap now as the one I had on was two pieces in the cap and the rubber seal spring came unstuck in two When I remove the old one the cap comes off and the rubber and spring stays in the tank so most likely not sealing as the new one is one piece together Hopefully

Hi guys My xr6 turbo bf dumped coolant out of my reservoir bottle hose line around 250ml or so after a 30 minute drive when turned car off at home and has it done it once about a year ago but was overfilled that time so I drained it to half way the reservoir tank I have a aeroflow reservoir tank and cap but have noticed the cap making a hissing bubbling noise when at operating temperature or hot so thought maybe the cap ? I checked my tank and was still at the same level it was last checked few days ago so the level is still the same so very strange as was not overefilled recently New radiator and thermostat has been done around a year ago Im a Bit stuck atm so can only do a aeroflow cap change as a cheap test Any help would be great or any ideas

Hi guys My bf xr6 turbo on E85 has oil in the intake plenum about a spoon full every say few 100kms but is coming from the pcv valve hose that goes to the plenum and has done it since purchased the car upon cleaning it then does it again my plenum is a process west which I removed the top cover to be able to see what is going on the pcv vacuum hose attached to the bottom/underneath of the plenum nipple as is coming out of the nipple inside the plenum and dripples/pressure out and splashes around but mostly sit running in the corner angle inside the plenum car runs fine and have done three oil changes on it since owning it over a year or so doing around 7000kms at 151000kms total oil is clean water/coolant checked is fine no oil in turbo have changed the pcv valve twice/genuine plastic ford ones and still does it could it be a blockage in the PCV system creating a lot of pressure as I have a catch can set up also which was on the car when purchased have attached a few pics of catch can if its set up ok and pcv hose system ? anyone experienced this type of issue \ thanks

Hi everyone, I just found a radiator leak few days ago at the bottom center of the radiator I removed the fans to get a better idea in where it is coming from and cleaned it all up as was in the channel part on the bottom where the radiator sits and had a bit of coolant cleaned it all up and started it and then saw it was coming from the bottom in the center im guessing I need a new radiator as it is a 15 year old one what are the recommended radiators to purchase ?? as pwr are to expensive and oem ones a discontinued its a bf mk11 xr6t zf Making over 400kw

so the oem and atomic ones in tensioner and chain do it besides the empire ? or is it something else

Hi, I am using the oem tensioner with a atomic chain as was told not to use the atomic tensioner and still doing the noise

Hello have a fg xr6 turbo mk2 and have put in a atomic HD chain on start up makes a rattling sound and goes way but due to the rev increase on start up it makes it when also in park reving it between around 2000-3000 rpm will make the sound of a rattle and whine but then coming down on revs goes away I have done a short video also https://youtu.be/fXsoLIM0jow any help or info on it would be helpful if anyone has experienced this sound thanks

Hello just wondering if fg f6 seats front and rear would fit in a bf xr6t ? as I dont have airbags in my seats so I dont need to connect up anything any help would be great or has anyone done it before ? thanks

Hello evryone , I have a bf xr6 turbo on e85 for last 6 month has 1000cc injectors and a 460 walbro pump has started to have a rough idle at a certain cold engine temp the last 1 week the rough idle is more of sounding like its got a huge lift cams in it as up an down reving but it starts off slowly before it gets to sounding like that its always between 50 to 65 degrees on my digital water temp gauge it does the rough idle then just within a second just straightens out idling fine till warm when I turn it off when warm and let it settle for 1 hour and drop again to 50degrees and start it then it will do the same as mentioned it slowly gets worse till it sounds like lumpy but clears up straight away and picks up its idle sounding clean and stable I have changed to new new coil packs, spark plugs, fuel filter new o2 sensor dump pipeas has no cat so only one sensor t-map sensor off plenum, map sensor and tested also in has no vacuum leaks and even new e85 fuel only thing I have not done is the engine coolant temp sensor on it anyone had a similar issue or can help as I think I have covered most thing to do any help would be great/p>

Hi everybody I have a bf xr6 turbo 6 speed and my battery voltage since I bought it on idle or coming to a stop in any gear will say go from 14.1v to 13.4/13.5v and then back up again if I start driving it will go back to 14.1 and stay there as long as I do not slow down to a stop and when I do slow down coming to stop at the lights it will just stay at around 13.9 and 5 seconds later will drop to 13.4 and then again back up to 13.9/14.1 and same drop again until I start driving and then stabilize it has a new alternator and new motorcraft battery from ford and the earth strapping seems ok I have tested the voltage also directly from the battery on idle and not on my volts gauge and does the same thing every 5 seconds goes to 13.8/13.9 to 13.3/13.4 any ideas or anyone had a similar issue and fixed it any help would be great or info thanks

Hi, everyone Does anyone know the dark argent wheel paint code for bf f6 xr6t ? needing it to spray paint some exterior trims I know a few paint codes such as 6BAH DARK ARGENT-MET or 2FRFB but was told there is 4 shades to the 6BAH Any help would be great or info Thanks

I just undone and pulled back the heat shield and clearly shows where it is or starts in the video clip Think around gasket ? Not sure Any ideas
