  3. Thanks for all your help guys. The fellas at pedders told me there was no kits available but after some research k-mac do do one for about $240rrp. Nolothane, which make pedders urathane bushes, also do a kit that retails for about $120. The nolothane kit allows +/- 1 degree of adjustment and the k-mac one is supposd to be +/- 1.5 to 2 degrees. Thanks again for all your help
  4. they said they dont make a camber kit for the rear.
  5. Hi all. I have a BF MK1 XR6 Turbo. As soon as I bought it I put aftermarket 19's on it. My first rear tyres lasted 9000km. I dont do skids but I do drive it hard. My local brake and suspension shop said that there is a little bit of adjustment in the upper control arms to try and straighten the camber of the rear wheels a little to help wear. After putting it over the pit they realised it had no camber adjustment and were dumb founded. Took the car to pedders and they said that's impossible... until they put it on one of their ramps and found the same thing. No adjustment. We rung ford with the vin number and they said some cars came with rear camber adjustment and others without. Wondering how everyone here has gone with lowering their cars and trying to keep away from negative camber in the rear end. My car isnt even lowered yet and I'm worried that when I do it will only be running on the inside 3 inchs of tyre like a bloody IRS commodore.
  6. Hey man. here is a pic for ya
  7. try gapping your plugs down to .75 dont give it a hard time with less than a THIRD of a tank get a fuel pressure gauge $500 or $5000 for a motor. there are heaps of limits that work against you to pull the power back expecially if you have a zf6, try a different tuner with a bit more sucsess with the zf
  8. oh and David I hear Conninsville Performance is the place to go in NQ so the guys can look forward to one more car to work on
  9. Thanks for the welcome. I promise to not bite too many heads off lol. I am buying a MKII BA XR6 Turbo. A mate put me onto your forums. I was just trying to research about getting an auto or manual. I was keen on the manual but after reading alot of the posts I think I might get an auto. They are just as quick and little more lazy to drive if you just put it in 'D' and dont need the upgrade of a bigger clutch. I will just do an oil cooler upgrade just to help the auto out a little. Then injectors, exhaust, intake and edit. Should go nicely. Dan
  10. Hi I was hoping to use my first post on the site on something a little more positive but I have to defend myself here. I am an Autobarn accessories installer in Mackay. I can appreciate what your saying about dodgy installers but please dont bag all autobarn stores, or all stores in a chain, because of problems with one particular store. I have seen some very dodgy work from other Autobarn stores as well as Strathfield and all the others. I consider myself to be good at my job and take all precautions necessary to keep the equipment, vehicle and occupants in tip-top condition. I'm not claiming to be the be-all and end-all of fitters but I do a quality job that will outlast the life of the equipment. How about naming the store so others know to keep away from that particular shop and not just all the stores in general. Thanks Dan
