im certain that all premium sound came with 6 disc

you will get a big difference in the doors to the sound of the front speakers if you dynamat the doors. even the factory speakers sound twice as good after treating the doors. if you do the boot it wont really make the bass louder but probably cut backa bit on ambient noise so the sub would seem louder anyhow. dynamat wont fix a lot of rattles, you need to find what is rattling and fix it at the source

you cant remove the outer skin. you will need to take the door trim off and wind the window up and work thru the inspection holes. after the outer skin is done then cover up the inspection holes. I think they do a product called 'dynaliner' that is more of a sound barrier. dynamat mainly stops panel resonation.

if your only going to upgrade at it probably wouldnt matter but if you were not going to touch it than make sure you get the premium sound

for the doors you need to put a few strips inside the outer door skin. make sure you get some on the skin right behind where the woofer is. once you have done the inside of the outer skin you need to cover up all the inspection holes in the door frame. nearly sealing the door up. put some more on the top of your parcel shelf and do your boot lid. there are other dynamat products more designed to be noise barriers that would be better under your boot carpet than dynamat extreme.

I dont know who assumed that the black trace is negative. I said the black trace was negative, but never assumed it. I only said it because I know it is fact. black is not always earth either. toyota use a black wire for the positive wire for the rear right speaker in 99% of their cars.

which pack? door pack? bulk pack? trunk kit? you would need a bulk kit at least to cover all that

sound pretty good to me $500 for a dvd player $200 for RGB converter $50 for the facia and $200 labour sounds pretty spot on

prestige sound is 6 disc with the mono screen premium sound has the bigger colour screen -
if all you want to do is add a sub just buy an amp with high level inputs straight into it.

type r alpine 5x7's wont go striaght in either but you need to space a 6" out so you gain your extra depth there

they wont go straight in but you will just need to make or buy a 5x7 to 6" adapter what brand exactly are these speakers? they might not even be worth putting in

its all one unit. you would need to pull the whole show out and dismantle it

that's the one on the AUX input kit. it should have a blue male and blue female plug on it. just unplug whatever is there and plug the aux kit in then the original plug into the other side of the aux plug

the PRS woofers are 67mm deep. I have them mounted with 12mm MDF. Pretty close to window but dont hit. Had to trim that back of the door trim cause the woofer hit it. Doesnt affect the strength or look of the doortrim once its back on

yeah not that they wernt disigned to play full range because in the utes there is no sub amp therefore they play full range in the ute with no dramas

the CD compression in probably turned on CDC or something they call it in the menu on the non -premo systems directly before or after the powerlimiting or PL in the menu make sure the CDC is off and try it

you will get anything in the doors. I got pioneer PRS woofers in mine havnt come across anything that wouldnt fit

make sure you unplug the factory amp becuase it make the ICC high pass the front and rear speakers at about 100hz. If you dont unplug it then sub bass wont get thru to the rear speakers for the Sony amp to pinch signal from

with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead. The socket goes in under the tissue box tray.

make sure you get the one from ford with the little amplifier box. Its about $100, maybe a little more.
