  1. or on second thoughts, just get the focal front splits for the front and forget raplacing the rears. use that money on a good amp instead
  2. go the focals then. the type r's sound pretty good and play really hard but the focals are quite a bit more refined but they wount blow your windows out. you will be dissapointed if you do put them in running off the factory deck but if you cant afford an amp just live with it for a few weeks till you can afford one. if you can afford an amp now then do it. and dont just get a cheap piece of sh*t like a US Audio or a Sound Magnus (Option Audio) or some junk like that. You would want to spend a good $350 to $400 for a decent 4 channel.
  3. retail on the amp alone is $500 to $700 for the lot is pretty good unless the speakers are junk.
  4. oh my god they actually did something for a customer!!! there must be something in the water there. which Ford service center did you go to? they must be gods lol
  5. sounds like a power problem but best to get ford to check it out
  6. sounds like that was the bad fuse to get rid of the code on the screen you just need to turn the keys to ignition so the icc can talk to the body control module to verify its code should work like a bought one then
  7. a mate had a bf 1 typhoon with dual climate and prem sound. he had a clock up at the mirror
  8. dp the ports actually sit that low in the box? looks like they are only an inch off the floor of the box
  9. I wouldnt recommend a .2 unless you really wanted or needed it. too much adjustablilty is just as bad as too little. rockford really need to make an in between model. I have a .2 and its a pain in the arse to tune cause its too finniky
  10. 360.1 is made by rockford fosgate. its really just a fancy line converter but does a much much better job. has 5 band eq's and other bits and pieces that you can tune via bluetooth on a laptop. if I do a quote for anyone with a BA/BF or VE Late model camira or anything with integrated factory headunit I just put it in the quote regardless cause you cant really do a decent system without it.
  11. sound like a decent price to me. you got a p3 woofer that's 3 series up in the rockfords. the t600-4 is a ballsy amp. we use one for our front stahe in our demo car. its a power series amp so much better than the punch series or even the new prime series rockford stuff. only thing I could recommend is a 360.1 instead of just a line converter. allows more tuneability to get the best out of all this decent gear your buying. could always add it on later if you couldnt afford in at the moment. other than that it should sound pretty sweet. oh and ask them if they have some dynamat left to put it on the back of your door trims. this make a huge difference in my bf
  12. the ba anf bf filters are different so no it wont fit
  13. any dvd player will do or xbox or playstation for that matter should be fine.
  14. you get the colour screen and the 6 disc cd front splits rear 2 ways sub and amp no mp3 which is a bit piss weak but get an ipod and the ford aux input kit and your laughing
  15. tweeters are in the a-pillars I bought 2 premium sound pillars for a customer about 2 weeks ago and it was about $80 for both pillars. just make your own bracket to mount the tweeter
  16. you need to ake the interior light out to mount the sceeen to the beam in the roof. just buy a screen with interior lights in it. I recommend the alpine pkg-rse2 screen kit.
  17. im not 100% but I think you only need the plastic boxes on the back of the icc for the car to run
  18. I havent got any photos of any I ave done. will try and do mine in the next week or so so I can post pics
  19. just get the ford kit. its about $110 and doesnt get the whine that other kits suffer from. and it comes with instructions for how to fit it. first one might take you half hour. after you have installed a few its a 10 min job.
  20. its cause the outer skin has come away from the boot frame. need to get some sikaflex in between there then put the dynamat back on. I think it IS beneficial to dynamat the inside of the outer door skin.
  21. I would try a better earth first. the power cable and power system will be more than big enough so that the amp wont go into protect mode.
  22. there are other products a bit cheaper that do nearly as good job. was more of a generalisation cause most people know what dynamat is
  23. and use a product like dynamat to cover all the inspection holes in the door frame behind the door trim to help seal the door. will boost midbass performance
  24. I havent come across a decent sub/amp in one box yet. just put a 4 channel under the passanger seat to run some splits in the front and a 12" behind the seat. if you think you might need the space behind the seat at times, just mount a 7pin small trailer socket in the side of the box and put the trailer plug on the speaker wire. makes it nice and easy to dissconnect and take out
