  1. Hi all, thanks for your input. Took my car to Metro Ford in the Valley (Brisbane), they upgraded my car's software and hey presto all fixed. Cheers.
  2. Has anyone had any problems with their FG losing their Ipod connection? Mine worked fine for about a week but now cant even see the Ipod when it is connected. Apple claim this is a firmware problem with the FG's. Ford are not breaking their backs to do anything about it. Anyone else?

    Chamois...

Real Chamois are made from Chamois..... highly treated leather. There are a lot of synthetic chamois on the market but they don't have absorbency of the real thing.... Always store them damp and they will last for years....
  4. so typhoon spark plugs fixed a vibration in your steering.... Am I missing something here?
  5. Here's a wild and crazy idea Kaldek, invest 10 minutes, go out and lube your boost solenoid, go for a drive and let us know what you think.....
  6. Every time I use V Power or V Power Racing, the back of my car is black with soot..... BP Ultimate, no problem..
  7. Did I say natable? WTF I meant notable..
  8. Will be interesting to see what Fatsex comes up with, there was a natable difference in my car's performance after lubricating my boost solenoid. Anyone else get this result?

    Advice Needed.

Picked myself up a 650 Versys late last year, best handling road bike I have ever owned. (Previous in chronological order, GPZ750, GPZ900R, RZ350, GSX750ESD, GPZ600R, GPZ750R, GSXR750, TL1000R, XB9R, ZX12R). Great for around town and heaps on fun on the weekend (Mt Glorious, Nebo, Mee, Russ Hinze Raceway etc). Extremely good ergonomics for a 187cm, 100kg lump. Even good for pillions. I think these will become very popular once more people are exposed to them.
  12. Put the new Motorcraft filter in and have noticed a lift in performance immediately. Will cut open the old filter (50 000 k's old) and see what sort of crap it has accumulated. It would seem that it was definitely not flowing as well as the new one and as such was holding the car back. Had to retorque the new filter after it was initially installed as it leaked from both ends. All sorted now....
  13. Absolutely, support your local dealer and they will support you...
  14. Don't know how much the Ryco or Valvoline ones are but I just picked up a Motorcraft one (steel) this morning for $27. Can't go wrong..
