  1. Try your fuel pump. Mine was doing the same. It would get to 3000 rpm and shudder. After changing my plugs and fuel filter I started to think about coils. After I took it to Blacktrack (Justin) he told me my fuel pump wasn't giving enough pressure. It was fine for normal driving, but it struggled under high boost. Now it doesn't miss a beat.
  2. Are there any other brands, other that Nankangs 245/30/20's, with the minimum load rating? They're too bloody loud and they're scrubbing out in about 15,000 - 20,000km. Any suggestions?
  3. I just after a little advice. I get really bad tyre noise from my fronts and will be replaceing them soon. But I'm wanting to dynamat either the floor or doors in an effort to reduce the road noise. I've already done the rear wall (BA Ute) and that helped alot. I have a bulk pack (3.33sq.m) and would like to know what to do first? The floor or doors. And if the floor, are there any tips to remove the seats and carpet Cheers
  4. Can anyone recommend a good tyre place in newcastle area I need a new set of 245/30/20 or if I can, see if 245/35/20 will fit
  5. So there isn't a problem with clearence when the steering is turned full lock?
  6. I'm just seeing if there is anyone out there that has fitted a 35 profile 245 tire on the fronts. I'm just a little over the ride that I've got with a 30 profile and Teins. (Awesome handling, crappy for country roads) If so whats your offset, And where have people had problems in the past fitting 245/35 ???
  7. The last time I had a wheel balance the wheel guy told me I had a small buckle on the front left. Can anyone recommended a person in Newcastle that can fix this?
  8. Moose what are the brand of tyres your planning to get? I'm due for a new set of 245/30/20 and don't really want to get Nankangs again
  9. I've got Tein's with the EDFC, handles great (really great) but I'm running 20" rims with 30 profiles. On either the soft or hard settings (1-16) it can get a little hard on a long trip But it really handles well
  10. I've been looking into a carputer setup. I have a 04 Ba XR6T ute with premium sound (6 stacker, small screen) and I'm looking at replacing the small screen with the larger colour screen. The main purpose is that I want to have a car pc with touch screen, gps navigation. I've been looking at the software Centrafuse and I think that will do everything I want. Can you get a touch screen to replace the factor colour screen (So there is no need to get the touch screen flim to place on top of the factory screen). I still want it to work as standard eg, radio, cd, and still be able to use the volume control on the steering wheel Is there any other advantages in having a purpose touch screen LCD over the factory one with a touch screen cover. I've read most of the carputer forms and checked out ASL and carpcaustralia, but I'm still left with these Q's. Any advice would help
  11. I'm just wondering if anyone has retrimmed the factory leather seats,? I'm wanting some more side support and more of a lumber cusion, am I waisting my time, is it possible?? I just wanted to keep the factor look, but with the support of a race seat Cheers
  12. Can I please get help on what the ball park figure of what it will cost to get a front and rear setup for a BA ute? I'm needing to lower my ute and am trying to talk my self in to getting a tein's setup Cheers Tim
  13. Also, do I need to replace the U bolts that hold the diff onto the spring. Will Repco know what I'm talking about or do I need to go to Pedders or someone like that??
  14. Can any help on were to get loweering blocks for a BA ute, and what sizes you can get then in. I've fitted 20's and now the rear sits a little to high. I don't want to reset the springs either
