It happened in the middle of the day, been driving straight for 3 hours before it died on the highway. Just lost power but did stop the engine. Its a bit hard to know if it runs a little rough at idle cause of the cams and lumpy note. But seems to run the same, just coughs and farts when touching the accelerator Yeah, you may be right there. I think I should just bite the bullet and get it back to the tuner. Always cost me more money when I go there. Get talked into more upgrades every time.. old mate pretty good at his job I run a SCT tuner on the car, running custom tunes. It can also read and clear codes. Engine light is not on. No codes present. All brand new fuel pumps, coils and spark plugs. Had full major service, oils and filters, timing chain and gears, new cams. All done professionally 2 months ago and run up on the dyno, pushed out just over 600hp at the wheels

I have had the car for 4 years now. This is the first time it has done this. Been running great until the other day. Driving along at 100km/h on the highway and it just lost power, coasted to the side of the road, engine was still running but wouldn't rev pushing down the pedal. Had to get it towed home. It will move off on idle, but nothing there to pick up speed. Just wants to stall out, when pushing the pedal down. Will hit boost and high revs stilling still, but after it splutters and nearly stalls.

Yes, its not standard. Has had a great deal of money spent on the engine It runs 2 tunes, 98 pump fuel and e85

Thanks mate. I have removed the intake pipe off the throttle body and all is ok. Its clean and the butterfly valve opens when the pedal is down. Now what's happening is with the engine idling and I push the pedal to the floor, the engine hesitates and nearly stalls, but then will spike and rev right up. Its a manual and has no power to take off and drive.

My turbo engine in my ute starts and idles, but won't rev and nearly stalls out when pushing down on the accelerator. Has anyone come across this problem. Check engine light is NOT showing on the dash..
