  1. I learnt and still am learning how to tune these turbo Barra’s via pcm tec . If keep reading the forums and all off the info threads , you will eventually understand it ! But it takes a looong time and possibly motor destroying mistakes that u learn from or near misses . But pcm tec is the way to go ! A tuner basically has a couple of hours to tune a car . In which most will do a good job . But it’s no where near perfect! I flashed my TT must be 30-40 plus times and am now just bout happy with it ! Main thing once you change out your injections . Is first make sure your fuel pressure is 4 bar and you buy quality matched injectors with good data with your high / low slope , offset figures! If you load all this info right in the pcm tec . Rest is only fueling and timing . You will need a wide band fuel gauge or u will blow her up ! Watch your timing via pcm tec Ave spark or knock on your data log . it’s very scary at first ! Only run 7psi gate first as it’s very forgiving at that boost to a point ! but once learnt and mastered at that boost ! It’s great fun road dynoing ( or a proper dyno if u can get one ?) and turning up the boost as saying to yourself “ this thing is just nuts !”
  2. The stock actuator is 7 psi I believe. I had one on my F6 310 and was netting 16 psi with the stock cams and then when I went to crow stage 3 forced could only get 14 psi . So I upgraded to turbo smart 12 psi which very well , saw 530 rwhp on 98 on the stock gt3582. Then upgraded to a gen 2 pulser gt3584 with a 15 psi gate . So turbo smart came off as it didn’t fit . So I took out the 5 psi spring of the turbo smart and left the 7 pound spring in and installed on my wife’s turbo TT. Which for a Daily Driver works well ! I can run on E 10 on gate and up to 10 psi ( 94 oct ) . Runs a little leaner but I have tuned for it via pcm tec. Max boost for and puffwagon will laugh at this lol! But I tuned it to 14 psi on 80 % duty cycle . So 16 psi would be possible. The btr box with the stock tune wasn’t loving life at all with 400 plus rwhp going through it ! So yeah running 9 -10 psi e 10 with 11 deg max timing. so 7 psi is good for a general st car . Depends what u want ? Puffwagon has demonstrated what is possible with a TT !!
  3. Hi , yours is an Fgx ! Very rare and absolutely awesome car ! Only 251 were built ! I own among other thing a F 6 310. As far as I know , there shouldn’t be any coolant coming where the oil flows ! Maybe bypass and get it looked at or test it via compressed air at the relief valve setting that it says in the header coolant tank ? Don’t go full send with 100 psi as it will be stuffed then !
