I drove a XR6T 6sp man Press car last week and it rocked, steering had more feel, car felt more balanced, the 6 spd was much eaiser to shift and felt alot stronger than my t56, and the clutch was suprisingly light compared to mine. launch control is gold. im interested to see what the real figures are for 0-100 and 0-400m as this car felt fast..I didn't really get to hammer it but from what I did do it was pretty impressive... I'm excited to think what this car would be capable of once the tuners get thier hands on it. : )

I think your right, never really considered how small it is, I guess im off intercooler shopping ...

sorry if this has been covered before, but has anyone just taken the stock 6t intercooler off and polished it up? firstly will that damage it in anyway? secondly is it difficult to do? .... mine has suffered a few stone chips and looks pretty crap, thinking the chrome look would do the trick till I save enough pennies to get an upgraded one...

has anyone had a final word from ford (official response from someone who knows)regarding this? mine has done it since new, before and after edit, I was just under the impression that if you give it too much the TC turns off for safety reasons so it dosen't do any damage to the system.... when I spoke to ford ( service staff mind you ) they claimed that the ba's will turn off when you give it too much, but the bfs shouldn't as they sorted it by then.... in any case mine, 05 mk2 turns off if I give it, but it has to be a proper tromp, not just an accidental wheel spin in the wet (which the TC works pretty good)... ????????

very nice, especially the spoiler, im not a big fan of the stock spoiler, yours almost looks like the fpv force 8 boot lip thingy, which is what im trying to get for mine..anyways good luck with the upgrades ...once you start you cant stop....well until the money runs out

I could be wrong but I thought that vixen replaced venom, came in from 04 or 05 I think and vixen is supposed to be a liitle darker..... not that is matters,,,, red is red and not blue or white or orange or mustard.. its late im rambling...

03 subaru impreza rx to 05 6t, 92kw claimed(if that) to 250rwkw(dynoed), I pondered for all of 3secs after driving it to make the decision....

(from the newbie) I also try and park away from everyone, but when I cant I always try and find another 6t, like today I went down to the Perth Motor Show and the convention centre parking is a little tight, but I managed to find a 6t amongst all the parks and as sure enough no scratches dents fingerprints when I got back.
