    Xr6t Engine Wanted

Well... I currently have my contacts at Ford seeing what they can do in regard to getting me a Typhoon engine (if not a XR6T). If I am lucky, they will be able to get me the motor at cost. I will then look into beefing up the bottom with the components available from Atomic. We are looking to make somewhere around 500 RWHP and we don't want the bottom end falling out now do we.

The SN65 is currently sitting in front of our office. We still own it, show it, drive it. Mostly drive it. Since completion in March, we have put a good 3,000 miles on it. In two weeks we are taking it to the MCA 30th annaversary. Driving it to the show and back should log another 1,600 miles. After that Wayne has a date with the folks at "Air Ride Technologies". Wayne will get to drive the SN65 around "Putnam" race track in Indianapolis. But... We are thinking about listing it with Barrett Jackson for sale at the January Scottsdale auction. Until then, we are diving it as much as we can. :-)

Was the RB26 not cutting the mustard? Ok so if u haven't seen Tokyo Drift u might not get that... ← Havn't seen it yet. Thought about renting it for a chuckle. Is it worth the $2.50 rental fee? Also, for what it is worth, we have been thinking about dropping a supercharged straight 6 in an early stang for about 5 years now. We just could not find a suitable design here in the states. In fact, I only learned about the XR6T a few weeks back. I must say that I am very impressed. Now that I am in the right part of the world. Is the XR6T the best Ford in line 6, or is there some other jewel awaiting me around the next corner? :-)

Excuse my ignorance, but what is an "Atomic" engine? I do not know if such a device would work in my early Stang in that plutonium is a bit hard to come by here in the states.
  6. I am looking for a complete xr6t engine for a project car we are building. We plan on dropping the engine into a 1965 Mustang Fastback. Any recommendations on where to find one and a quality shop to handle the inspection/rebuild?
