1. Hey mate just wondering if you can get replacement filters/socks for the walbro's? GSS341 to be exact..

2. If you only want around 260rwkw's sell the plazmaman gear and you'd have the money for flashbox, injectors, cat, tune which would see 260, and you might have some change.. I'd be savin ma pennies and making it a weapon, but remember its a BA..
3. Anyone know where to get filters/socks?? for the walbros's... Think I've got a 341
4. sh*t dude.. thank fark your in QLD lol if you tried to race me on the street I would just laugh and that laugh would turn into a WTF is that as you beat me hahaha. Dont think I've seen a better sleeper.. But to answer your question, I've just re modelled my engine bay, shortened the pipework from the filter to the turbo by half if not 3/4, enclosed a pod filter in a box, and its 3" the whole way... The spool is twice as fast I reckon, just swings to 2000rpm and yeah the rush of boost starts.. Awsome mod to do..
5. Dude honestly, where you are modifying wise, you'd get better results from injectors and a Cat, rather than spending $600 on a cai... The f6 intake added to the standard box is good for well over what a tune will give ya rwkw wise.. I'd be doin other mods and only considering it after say 300+rwkw's.. Sure it would be a benefit though.. Try to get most of ya bits together for the first tune..
6.
im going to be organising a group buy for flip keys for the BA's. got 20 coming in, depending on interest I may get some BF ones as well. normally go for $200, group buy pricing will be $150 each. all you need to do is get it cut (costs about $20) and you can program it yourself (if you have 2 original keys, if not I got mine cut and programmed for $85). should be here early march! John
Hey dude, im interested. Do they look like the FG key but are suited for Ba's?
DJR bobtail anyone?
I'd be interested...
7. Surely theres a way to physically remove the tank, or is there like alot of stuff in the way, suspension, exhaust etc.. Which could end up costing $$$ I would never be 100% happy if it was just 'flushed' maybe its just me..
8. My old car VS V6 had 134 rwkw's.. I raced my mate in his 01 Bug ey.. I had a full car and he had 3 people, and I won lol.. He was a sh*t driver back then, very sh*t.. Since then hes been through 3 gear box's, pushin 17psi untuned, blew both diffs and only fixed the rear one.. Rear wheel drive rex, lost the biggest advantage he ever had.. Now drives a SS LOL.. took a step back imo..
9. Coming along nicely dude.. Cant wait to see it all finished...
10. Has anyone had their fuel tank cleaned? Is it a big job? I'd get it prof done of course, just curious cause I had the car serviced and the fuel filter was aparently full of crap. When I got my walbro pump put in a while ago, Nizpro also said the standard one had crap on it.. This cant be good for the car..
11. As far as more mods... Not anytime soon, just had a service and I have a few things that need looking after before any upgrades, im happy with where the power is atm, just want to free it up a bit I guess.. Well after a bit of mucking around I got the bits and pieces together and fitted my crossover replacement pipe.. Looks good I reckon, anythings better than the std crossover imo.. Took it for a spin, and POP! off goes the tb joiner, reconnect it with a new clamp and shes all sweet.. Still not keen to go past ~3000rpm, the guage is reading about 7-8 psi, and it gets there real quick. Im thinking a re-tune is in order but I'll have to see after the dyno..
12. Took the car for a spin tonite..The shorter intake/pod/airbox and cold air, WOW!!! comes onto boost like twice as fast and seems more effortless.. Didnt give it too much cause I havent run it up on a dyno yet to check how the tune is, but I cant wait to really test it out.. Up there with the best mods I have done, theres no waiting for boost, pretty much just swings to ~2000rpm and the rush begins.. If my tune is fine, is there any gains to be had with a re-tune anyway, or it wouldnt make much difference? keeping in mind I still have to put on my crossover replacement pipe, which should be goin on tomorrow if everything works out..
13. I'd get them sprayed rather than powder coated.. My old rims were powder coated, and it adds a decent layer of coat to the rimm and my nuts wouldnt fit without a bit of force which scratched most of the coat off.. If you ever scratch/damage the rim its harder to repair also.. Cost me $20 a wheel I think, but had to get them sand blasted and sanded smooth first, so that made it a bit cheaper too.. Got mine done in Dandenong, forget the name, but if your keen ill drive past it and let u know.. Cheers Mike..
14. Boy do they get off the line quick... Once rolling though, the weight of the T isnt such a big factor, plus we all know how hard it is to launch a manual T.. Get the 12psi tune in, that's what I'd do...
15. If I had an f6 id probably just have the power... Looks awsome as is and you barely see any around for them to look common.. Spend the money on some power upgrades I reckon..
16. MA77Y RLQUIK R-SPEC HENZ+2 others 6L_ETA NVYDF6 NFORCD+7 Headsex. Maybes... GR8XR6 Bradles024 Smxr6 coletrickle YPURV4 Seeman F6RD Yoshi Gonna have to pull out of this one, have sh*t to do that nite...
17. Finally got most of it in.. Took me and my cousin about 4-5 hrs, inc breaks and a few trips to Bursons for bits and pieces but we got there.. It was about 30+ deg and the garage was a sauna lol.. All these bits I bought off another member so I dunno where he got them from, but most of it seems custom made.. The only thing left to do is replace the crossover, I have the pipe to do this but it doesnt connect to the stock hose comin off the ubp.. so im gonna do a few things to either modify it or replace the stock pipe completely, hence me pestering ppl for a spare lol.. I've booked in a service at Pit Lane on friday and wanted it all done by then, so I can put it on the dyno and have the afr, boost etc.. checked, but doesnt look like its gonna happen, not enough time.. Let me know what ya think...
18. Last time I was after a hot side pipe they wanted like $400, so I dont think it would be too far off man.. All good though, a wonderful member off here is express posting me one, for the cost of postage.. cant beat that..
19. Anyone have the stock rubber pipe that goes from the ubp to the crossover I can buy??? Need I asap... Ohh yer saw the ypurv4 at pit lane... Was fkn loud tearin up the dyno, couldn't hear myself talk..
20. Im keen as too... Just about to buy a new remote cause mines farked, but this would be soooo much better
21. Exactly.. the cost of a good LLC would be the same as a good head unit, but the head unit is way better.. Check out my install to give you an idea.. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/Head-Unit-Installed-t53255.html&p=799154&hl=head+unit&fromsearch=1#entry799154
