Heres my new front bar.. I bought it with the bar and surrounds already painted for a steal. Im not sure who made the bar, cause Ben who I bought it off bought it off another guy, who said it was from Fibresports, so I get in contact with Fibresports send them some pics and they're like it aint one of ours.. I didnt care I just needed a few bits and pieces to finish the bar off.. The guys at Fibresports were VERY helpful dealing with all my questions and for the stuff I needed.. The fit is very ordinary, theres a decent gap under the passenger side headlight, but the other side is fine? Also had to trim the bottom of the bar cause it would hit my hotside pipes (may have been the way the pipes were fitted). I trial fitted my original top grill and it fit, although a bit tight I like it, the bottom grill is the same one I bought off ebay, that looks alright so I left it to.. All up cost me around $500, and some f*cking around.. Heres a few pics..

True, my nizpro cooler had to be fitted like 20-30mm to the right of what the instrustions say, because of the hotside pipes, didnt mind it cause its centered now.

When I got new tips put on my cousin did on his old mans car.. We both noticed a change in exhaust note. His was an AU and it sounded pretty good and louder.. Mine just went louder.. I got 2 3" straight tips and he had a single into twin chrome tips put on. IMO that's your problem..

I got plazmaman hot side, I think they are 2.5", but I think when installing them, the pipe that connects to the cooler was installed at a wierd angle, so it sits lower than normal, and if u ever changed you hot side pipes you'd know how much of a bitch they are. It was fine with the normal bar, but with this one its wierd, maybe its the bar that wrong? With all the other imperfections it wouldnt suprise me.. Pics were on my old iphone and I forgot to backup the pics, but ill get some more tomo after I give the car a wash..

Yea mate saw u too.. You cooler is friggin huge dude.. Scraped the new front bar leaving that servo, really need to get the new springs in to raise it a bit.. The new front bar is on.. The fit of it is pretty average, took alot of coaxing to get it on, had to take a bit out of the bottom cause my hot side pipes were in the way, alot of it doesnt line up, but hey I like it and it takes a keen eye to notice the imperfections anyway..

Am I reading it right.. $3,900 for a CAT? Not a whole exhaust? Pick one up at a wreckers maybe, go to an exhaust shop, they must have a brand that makes oem replacements..

Wouldnt that just be a speeding fine? This is what gets me, what do you have to be doing to be labled a hoon? Obvious ones would be burnouts, street racing, kicking the back out etc.. But surely speeding is still speeding. If im doing 10kms over the limit and I drive a T am I a hoon and loose my car for 30 days?

When I sprayed mine, I just stuck the can in there and away I went.. Took like 10 sec to do, but with about 20min of masking up, anyway much easier to do and unless you wanna spray the parts you can see..

Looks wicked dude.. What do ya mean by custom cooler? When my fully sick mates say custom cooler, they mean a truck cooler that's been made to fit a car lol... They drive VL's could u have guessed hahha

Does anyone have a pic of a aftermarket Phoon bar from the back, with the foglights and surrounds all fitted? Wanna get an idea before I fit mine..

LOL its not going to have FPV or F6 badges on it.. I just like the look of the Phoon bars and my bar is in need on a respray. I got this bar for the price of a re-spray so win win ey.. Just a bit of mucking around but it should come out ok, hopefully.. Does anyone have a pic of a aftermarket Phoon bar fron the back?

In my years here I dont think anyone has copped as much sh*t as regularly as *Beep*... LOL Im not complaining, keep it coming, it makes for very enjoyable reading..

Love the mattress LOL.. I need something like that for my garage.. Perfect height mate, and yeah when in drive it drops the rear.. My car looks wierd when parked, but when I see it driving it looks level..

NIZ cooler FTW I have only delt with Alex from Plazmaman, in regards to intercooler bits and pieces I needed. To say he was a great help is an understatement, literally answered my 100's of questions and I ended up with exactly what I wanted, couldnt be happier. They are a bit cheaper too.. I tried a a couple of sponsors, but yeah seemed asif they gave up after a few emails. My 2c..

Yeah hiddeous, he says it feels normal when it comes on boost though, youd think youd have more traction probs when the boost started to come in.. IMO take it to a good tuner who knows what they are doin, so it can get sorted out...

Well I've ordered those brackets off em, should arrive in the next few days, then lll see how well it all fits together..

LOL.. my trans cooler sits behind my drivers side fog light, having no fog light there would be good for it..

Dillz I like the look of fog lights dunno why.. Plus I think it would look a bit wierd with just the fog light surrounds sittin there and a nice hole in the middle.. New CAI hehe.. But yea if I cant get them in, let alone get them working, ill piss em off.. I remember a guy on here who didnt have em in and it looked pretty good. That glue sounds wicked hehe.. Freeze, my understanding of wiring is as good as my understanding of nuclear physics hehe im hopeless.. Hmm maybe if I chop the factory fog light wiring connector thingy off, connect it to the new foglight wires and I have a conector thingy that will clip into the factory wiring that goes into the car?
