WOW that GTR is quick... I thought the AMG and the ZO6 would have done better... The 458 is pure sex though, that would be my pick of the bunch..

I agree with Dillz, get a better overall car no matter if BA or BF, these cars are getting fairly old now and one that hasn't had a hard life would be the better car.

Well I ended up grabbing an old std pump off a forum member, and fitted it this morning.. The car now starts straight away, runs smoother and I have about 1/4 tank of fuel left and it didn't even think of surging... Couldn't be happier, Just gotta save for a surge tank, among the other million things I want.. What a pain in the ass those 3 fuel lines were to get off, the first 2 went ok, but the last one took like 20 mins of swearing and trying to use a few different tools before it came off. The pump I bought was the whole unit, so that part was a quick changeover..

Ive noticed lately that when I have the music up fairly loud, when the bass hits, the revs drop tad, and my volt gauge shows a decent loss of voltage... Never really noticed it before so I think my battery is on its way out too.. Its also takes a while to crank over when starting..

My car stalled a few times when slowing down to red lights... had a re-tune as I got new mods and whatever Danny did fixed it, didn't even tell him about the problem..

I got done for ride height with a full car load.. Didn't change a thing, went to vic roads, the old guy wheeled the thing under and it didn't hit a thing, he asks me "why did they get ya" asif I'm wasting his time, I told him they must have been bored and drove off... Don't think it was a major defect like u said you got.. But as I read above, if its just a roadie I think you'll be fine, EPA is a different story..

Steppin out of a VS commie and off my P's.... Took a VY SS for a drive and wasn't excited at all.. then saw XR6T's were in my budget so I took one for a drive, would never go back to an N/A engine again... the rush is addictive.. But my all time car I want, a clean VL Calais Turbo..

My first fine I wrote to them saying it was my first offence, was new to driving round the area bla bla bla... and got off... My mates dad wrote that his daughter had her period and he was in a rush to get her home and got off.. Worth a try I reckon, esp its your first offence..

Yea spotted u too... well can't really miss that ute anymore hehe.. TUFF mate I did raise it, went from SL's to L's, but the driveways are still a bitch, has some nice scratches on the bottom.. I like the stance now and the ride is heaps better, I don't sh*t myself when I see bumps anymore, just a lil wee comes out now..

I use the cheap stuff from super cheap.. got the big 'Tyre Shine' on the can, I've never had a problem with it. Give the tyres a generous coating after a wash and pretty much drive after.. Colour is phantom but I have never noticed it..

I need to go and have another look at the TTi range before I make up my mind though. But, goin through the garage today, I found a 55 piece socket set, with only 1 missing socket, a 13mm. The box says Auto Tool by Morey Haig I assume that's the brand, I remember I bought them from a garage sale.. The kit looks good, a bit rusty but would clean up really good.. Think I may swell keep this and put the money towards some good ratchet spanners and a breaker bar.. Decisions decisions...
