Ok so went there and he explained exactly what needs to be done... So to cut a long story short its ALL going in this wednesday... 4 channel, mono block, capacitor, LC6 (properly). In the end it was a misunderstanding.... Fixed the prices accordingly for the muckaround. I also picked up some 5*7 Type R splits for $249 down from $360 also for my trouble... So in the end im fairly happy... Time will tell, this setup THUMPED in the old car off a head unit.. hope this LC6 is just as good...

Yeah one of the guys just had his fully rebuilt from top to bottom and its MINT..... Hes got more power on 6psi than I do with 12psi HAHAHA Bastard!!!! But yeah I do agree with ya... 95% of them are just buckets begging to breakdown hahaha

Ok so the install guy (Ellie) called me after 4 missed calles and a few voice mails... and we decided to have a chat tomorrow.... He said since I have a mono block which I wanted to put in and then later put in my 4 channel when I upgraded the speakers I should just do it in one hit... common sence really... so yeah will find out all tomorrow... He apologized for the misunderstanding n stuff.... seemed like a good guy... ill see how good tomorrow LOL..... Now wheres my baseball bat gone? Mike

Ok so the latest is.... Me and the installer had a chat when I dropped my car off... I told him to 'hook' it up and ill connect the rest of my stuff eg: amps subs etc.... He thought I meant that I'll install the speaker feeds!!! I thought installing something means fitting something so that it works correctly... Supposedly I paid for him just to power it not 'INSTALL' it.... Even though my recipts say 'Install paid' The guy called the install guy to find all this out. He than gave me the install guys number and guess what hapens when I try to call him? his phone is switched off not 5 mins after talking to the guy at JB.... So I call up the guy at JB again and ask him whats the go and he insists that I need to talk to the install guy cause as I said above I only paid for him to power it and that the speaker feeds are extra depending on how many I need.... All I can say is BULLSH*T... Im goin there tomorrow after work and gonna have a few polite words wif them...

Thxx for the replies guys... Fats they make you pay first than book you in for the install!! Yeah I dont know how this audio stuff works so I wasnt sure if it was connected properly or not.... I needed to connect the amp to the battery and a few other bits and pieces so it wasnt till I got home that I found out it wasnt working!!! I'll give em a call now and see what they say...

I bought an LC6i from JB and got JB to install it (theres my first mistake I know).. Anyway the thing is I plug in my rca's from my amp and nothing works... the subs dont make a sound.... I had the same setup using an LLC and everything worked... I think they didnt plug something in. I looked in the LC6 handbook and it says that I need to get speaker level inputs from either my source unit or amplifier and nothing is plugged into these inputs on my LC6 as seen in pic 2... Could others post up some pics so I can compare.. or just info is good too... Will be taking it back but as I dont know whats exactly wrong with the install I dunno what to tell them to fix!!! Any help appreciated Mike

Awsmxr I say go the drift bonnet.... the Boss bonnets have been and gone imo... The drift will looks miles tuffer and different....

If I was u I would buy a second hand phoon... close to new... The people who own them (most of them) have respect for them and arent P platers that just thrash the crap outta them... A seconh hand phoon shouldnt cost more than a brand new T with all the options u want... A phoon is a better all round package

The only thing I've managed to get on my 'private road' so far was a V-Tech Integra....All done up and VERY noisy once it kicked in (the honda that is) so I had to get away...easily I might add, that was me stock. No one else wants to come on my 'private road' I wanna test out my HP-F tune LOL Keep the stories coming people.... some funny reading here!!!! Mike
