Yeah guys im hearing some suburbs that I've never really heard before hahahha... to early if there... Maybe 11ish... Bayswater sounds good to me.... I want the tutututututututu so what exactly do I need to do... by reading these posts I think chair tips with no holes completely blocking/taking off the BOV correct? When doin mine I didnt even take it out... just took off the pipe from the crossover. I used a rag on the end on a screwdriver and just my fingers. I opened the butterfly and all... havent had a problem since... I had wierd idle problems that led to my car stalling and the clean fixed it all up... What does the Edit box do for the N/A's? I know I would firm up shifts and just tweak fords program... but in a T we can add boost and that's where we get most of our extra power from, but for an XR8, what are the gains? Fitting a S/C is alot of $$$, like $5000+ spend that on a T and you would be running 11's hehehe But seriously good luck mate, charge it and whine all the way home.... Mike

Yeah im usualy around that area during weekends... Chuck up a pic of your car so I know what to look for heheheh... The citric acid T, are the 20's chrome? If that's the same car, I was told that is a bit of a weapon (rebuilt with forgies etc....) BlackThunder knows him, maybe he can clear it up. I was told by a guy I use to work with but he was known to stretch the truth a bit.....

Im no expert, hell I nearly know nothing about turbos but that is just wrong...

Where abouts are you scriber?.... cause im always around the SE suburbs.... I live in Carrum Downs but work in Dandy.... I rarely see any T's also but have been seeing a few lately... The latese one I always now see on dandy/frankston rd in the morning on the way to work and on the way home too always goin in the opposite direction.. Its red, lowered, custom plates and chromies... I think another cruise is in order so we all can catch up... wadda u guys think?

Sorry to hijack but someone told me from this forum that they had the feature that say when ya open your door the headlights automaticaly turn off rather than having the car beep at me and manualy turning them off... Is this true? If so how do I get it... There is already too many things that beep at me in these cars, time to get rid of some. These Autogauge gauge's are next... heheh Mike.

From experience with my old car (not a T) preperation is important. Make sure you get all the crap and brake dust off first. I used hot soapy water and a wire brush, but some sort of off the shelf product is bound to be around. Buy some heat proof or actual Caliper paint I think VHT or something. I masked up everything I didnt want red, and spray away. Add a few coates allowing time to dry inbetween. Basically follow the instructions on the spray bottle and you should be fine....

Seen a T, citric acid, with black stripes with a big TURBO sticker down the side, custom plates (cant make them out while driving past). rims, lowered etc... Always parked on dandy frankston rd recently... I think the owner is working at a construction site or road works or something... Looks pretty hot though.. dont mind the stripes with the 'turbo' sticker altho I wouldnt put one on my car.

Ok I dont know why u people had these experiences but for me... when I first got insured it went like this.... Just got off my P's and bought the T... I rang up heaps of places to get quotes (just cars, ravc, aami.. heaps) Most wouldnt touch me cause I was 22 at the time. Shannons were the cheapest at $1500 and the best people I have spoken to on the fone in my life... He (the guy I spoke to) were chattin about how T's are mad cars and how I got a good price etc... Its my daily driver and they know that. They never asked me about any previous cars being performance cars or any car for that matter. Im a rating 1 on full comp.... My cousin want an XT Forester (turbo version) and called Shannons and they told him that hes not an enthusiest (spelling) and they werent gonna insure him. He asked what that meant and they said that that car is not a 'typical' performance car even though hes gonna lower, add 20's, boost it and all the fun stuff to it. Their aint many other options for him apart from the obvious 'just cars' etc.. which he found out to be $2000+ and the rest wont touch him cause hes 21. Its wierd how im insured and others for the same car and even older age arent... Cheers Mike...

Spotted a phantom T which had a fordxr6turbo.com sticker on the back, leaving Southland shopping center last night heading down Nepean Hwy. I think the plates were 'FPRJET' He had an bonnet bulge with vents, typhoon or GT wing.... Looked pretty good.

Looks Tuff Rob... I was looking at those rims also. Your car has the power to back up the Tuff looks..... Good Job.

I thought that after an EDIT the performance is almost equal.... Isnt the difference in performance 'stock' that the phoon has more boost? therefore the 270fwkw.

Might see you fellas there then..... Ill look out for other T's hehehe we'll be the minority LOL..
