A guy I know has spent a crap load on his VT SS (they released some SS's with supercharged V6's) Anyway last time I spoke to him he had around 180rwkw's and 500nm... IMO a waste of time.. Easier to make something fairly quick, quicker than something with no balls.. Found that out the hard way on my first car... A VS V6 for those playing at home...

Last night I had a car full of mates sleeping so I had to go home... spewin I couldnt take part So greeny has around 330rwkw's and the F6 according to Danny cause he tuned it has 300rwkw.. and the F6 won?? Obviously alot of factors would have played a role in the race but, a win is a win.... I think Greeny prob had traction issues ey....

I'd suggest ask your tuner about whats holding the power back... Im planning the same mods as you but add siemens, monza and valve springs, but standard zorst (maybe a modified CAT) and I was told I'd be near the 280+rwkw level.. I've read that Simon from XFT is one of the best in the buisness so he should be able to help you... I'm nearing 100,000kms too so I hope its not that hehehe

Spot on... I called Shannons not long after my post, and the chick I spoke to went into more detail about what I had.... When I first called them the guy didnt ask specifics, but the chick I spoke to asked for brands, sizes etc... I also asked what would happen if anything was stolen and she said that they 'now' have a good description, and that I would probably have pictures of the wheels for example for them to identify...

I called up Shannons a few days ago, to inform them about my mods. I had them done ages ago but yeah only recently decided to call em. I told them about the 19's, lowered and my stereo. But the thing is, reading from another post... are they covered or do they just know about it? They didnt ask me how much I paid for anything, so if my wheels get stolen I can just say I paid $3500 for em, and slap on some 20's?? I do have full comp, and it was $27 extra I paid on the day for the extra mods... I guess I should call them, but just after some opinions.... Cheers Mike

Hey Dillon, I would highly recommend Freeway Car Audio (FCA). They did the install in the old car, and it was by far the best. My mates had installs from JB, autobahn etc... and the level of detail FCA went to was awsome. They basically rewired the whole stereo system including speaker wires, all the cables were wither hidden or wraped in black so you couldnt even tell it was there. I hated ripping it all out, to put it into the T. They also know what they're talkin aout too. They are however, a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for.... They're on Princess Hwy, next to Coffey Ford, the orange building, cant miss it Also places not to go: JB HI-FI Dandenong. I've had a few things installed by them... They pretty much just want to get the install done as fast as possible, so they can get the next car in.. Also I've heard a few bad things about the guy that actually does the installs... His workmanship aint the best, lets just say that.. Mike.....

I stepped out of an VS V6... I was a Expensive Daewoo fan at the time, so took an VY SS for a spin... What can I say, it was quiet, they seemed to be everywhere on the road, and worst of all it was slow... I continued to look around for a new car, and saw that T's were goin fairly cheap these days...But wasnt too keen on a ford, anyway saw one I liked (Phantom) took it for a drive, as soon as the boost hit me and my old man were like 'Sh*T' this has some balls. It crossed all the right boxes, made all the right noises (except for the diff clunk) and in the end the badge was the least of my worries.. A year and a bit later, now boosted, the only thing I like about holdens is seeing them in my rear view mirror LOL.... The VE HSV's are HOT though.... I say buy the T, spend about a grand on a ETID/custom tune, and you'll have the beast u want.... Mike.....

So im in Sydney for a bit of a holiday.. Im in Abbotsford so its not too far from the action (city) This is my 3rd day now. Now my views of sydney, well this city stinks, its got a wierd smell, your water tasts funny. Let me not start on the traffic, this no right turn, one way streets stuff, thank god I aint driving, but I wish my T was here, cruising would be awsome... the woman are awsome and the night life rocks....Went to Kings cross last night, those bouncers almost force u in the strip joints, they dont give up LOL.. Anyway, while on the bus on some freeway I see an XR.. it was debadged so I dunno if it was a T, but it looked hot. Twas blue, fpv bodykit, rims and the plates XRLENC I think... Cheers Mike.....

I'd suggest a package from one of the site sponsors... They will have a package that'll give you the power you want and be reliable.... I thought 350ish rwkw was the limit for stock internals.... Any more and your playing with fire.. correct me if im wrong Mike...

My mate (Expensive Daewoo guy) suggested I get NEGEN3, but with 227rwkw I'll be a sitting duck... Altho I have whoop'd many a GEN 3 in my time...It must be the torque LOL
