Hope he sees the thread.. Would love the steering controls back, if only for volume control cause its just at your finger tips.... I asked freeway about it and I think it was $200+ for whatever it was to make it work, which IMO is no where near worth it..

Ahhh I must have missed that one... I didnt think it would have been such a bad buy as long as it stayed together.. I would love something like that as a daily to fang around and not really care about hehehee

Personally I would be more than happy with 340 rwkw's but everyones different.. You wont see much of the 390rwkw on the street, I imagine alot of wheel spin in your future.. Good luck with it all

Well all up was $200. They installed the HU along with the dash kit, Unwired my LC6 and ran all the wires for my 4 channel to the factory speakers and amps to the HU. Pretty good price IMO. I went to the one in Dandenong, never been to the Malvern one cause its too far. Have nerver had a problem with the Dandy store and highly recommend them, I delt with Steve. Good bloke, explained everything...

I've got a 4 channel funning the standard speakers already. They guy at freeway said that my amp would struggle to run the type r's, so he suggested me to get the type s's.. Or get the type r's and get a new amp too... So atm im leaning towards the type s's. But if theres something out there better, than im all ears, but then again I dont wanna get a new amp too.. Decsions...

Hey I thought I was the only one.. Door actuator crapped itself Bonnet cable broke Front seat plastic bit broke off Passenger window slow to go up Diff clunk Wierd sound from the RH front suspension when it rains (buggered if I know) Pipe from the crossover to the rocker cover broke too where it connects to the crossover Cup holder wont stay shut Slow ass seat belt All these little things happened around the 100,000kms mark.. (apart from the diff) Its as if Ford time all these things to fark up as soon as ya warranty finishes so they can get more $$ from ya.. Most of the stuff has been fixed, its just annoying. Now just waiting for something else to let go and need replacing LOL.. Your not alone....

Nemesis think your right, well the packaging looks pretty much the same from what I can remember, didnt really look at it that well just saw that it was centered and gave the ok to use.. Yeah had the factory premium sound, and well aftermarket will always sh*t on factory...

I heard its impossible to drink alot of milk (2L) in like one sitting... Some thing about your stomach not agreeing with it and it coming back up!! A mate of mine had all alpine gear in his car and it sounded awsome so I basically stuck with that brand. Im sure for the same or less $$ you could get gear that sounds just as good, but I dont know what/where/brand. Around the $200-$300 im wanting to spend on a set of 6" or 6.5" whatever they are (dont want 5x7's) splits, can anyone recommend any? MRDOSE, Freeway Car Audio supplied it. But I think I saw one similar on ebay...
