  1. Stay away fro the aus car industry when looking for work, as its a sinking ship
  2. Yes ther is a hiss, but just turn it off if not listening to the stereo.
  3. Ahhh, looks like pod setup needs to be done to get the good induction sound like I had on my R33 Skyline with GT35 turbo and vented external gate!!!!
  4. People that have used the FG K&N notice any difference or sound?
  5. He worked right near where I worked. I was going to get the wifes cx7 done by him, but then once I got the G6ET I couldnt be bothered as I hardly drive her car now. Do you know if he passed on the software, r&d to anyone else?
  6. Further to what others have said this site also has alot of good info. http://www.mcx7.com/private.php Guy in Victoria username 'SassiMac' that has the software to custom the cx7.
  7. So most Repco's now stocking them in Melbourne?
  8. I have a G6ET and the wife has a CX7 and I get alot better fuel economy that her city driving and interstate driving, as we have driven both cars to Sydney and back. There a few mods around including ecu for the cx7, IC and intake which will see its 0-100 times in the mid 6's. The CX7 is a great second car to drive around and I cant fault it beside the less than average fuel economy
  9. They come crooked from the factory it seems, as mine was also. Did you remove the back muffler also?

  13. Yes, what the government sees you earn and what you really earn are two very different things to most rich people!!!
  14. Through some agency specializing in overseas work. Didn't bother to keep details. Wife wanted to go for a few years so we can come back and pay the mortgage off and live well. Unless you knows others there, life would be boring I recon on a long term contract. You would have to live in a small 1/2 bedroom flat, which I cant handle after living in a large house with cinema room etc
  15. If you have wife and kids its hard to live away for those long periods on site in those camps
  16. Its very easy to earn over $3000 per week after tax working in WA in the mine fields, but you have no life and have to live in mining site houses, which are sh*te!! I got offered work in Dubai for 250-300k a year doing similar work to what I am doing now, but I have 2 many other commitments in Aus.
  17. Project Manager, 9 years experience, working for environmental engineering company who offer solutions for air and water treatment and mining resource recovery eg Uranium and other precious metals and minerals.
  18. Had dual a-pillar pods in my R33 Skyline, no issues with hitting head on it as the steering wheel airbag would operate if the accident was bad enough. I have one of these on my a-pillar holding my GPS. http://www.holdmyphone.com.au/index.php?op...;ddlModels=1178 It fits pretty well into the A-Pillar, so dont see why a twin gauge holder couldnt be made easily
  19. I do 40-45 hr/s per week when in the office for my $1500. If I do overtime when interstate I get TIL
  20. Damn, they are just around the corner from where I work, drive past there 2 times a day, everyday
  21. Pics of mine with the lowered pedders spring in the members section. Car has settled a few more mm lower now so need to get some new pics
  22. Better quality plastic button on the dash. The ODO button on my G6ET is stuck in!!
