Yes, I have this problem with mine every time at Shell. I just pull it out a little bit and it fills fully and stops by itself. I used to have this problem at all servos in my Skyline because jap filler caps are slightly different. You would think an Aus built car would not have this problem.

Just 1. I got a Belkin dual usb 12v socket so have gps and mobile both plugged in at the same time as needed.

The HKS Evo should be at the 2011 superlap also.

You can really hear to engine braking and down shifting when you remove the center muffler. I like the auto's down shifting as it ensures your in the right gear when you come out of a corner and accelerate

I looked at removing my lower front grill and getting the cooler centered and pushed forward to the opening a year ago when I first got mine. The lower grill is attached to the bumper so you need to remove the lower bumper and use a small die grinder to cut the grill out. The cooler being installed off center looks stupid if you remove the grill and not center it

The XR6T 50th anniversary model has the same dash and dash fascia as the stock G6ET. The 50th anniversary G6ET dash and fascia looks cheap and nasty.

Brother-In-Laws friend went all the way to Bega in WA from Vic to get the XR6T 50th Anniversary model for 41k drive away with 10km on the clock. I haven't seen it yet but the dealer told him that they had to get rid of it or they would have to pay some showroom tax or something. Sounded godgy to me as everywhere else was selling em for around 47k drive away

What about taking car back for ford recall work like the rear diff bushses on the FG. Will they try and get out of replacing their forkup if you have tune etc? -
Seen upto 60kw gain in the mid end with around 30kw peak kw in other tunes Did you get the engine cutout during full throttle upshifts removed also? With my middle exhaust removed you can really hear the cutout give the engine note a huge cough during full throttle upshifts.

just remove the centre muffler if you want more sound in your G6ET

yes 9.5 width, but offset 35, couldn't get 38 or 40 in the rims I wanted

Anyone Rolled There Rear Guards (Fg Ute)

Just tried to get my G6ET rears rolled and was told they are rolled already from the factory so cant be rolled anymore. Needed them rolled so 275's rears don't rub! -
Just had a mobile tyre roller over trying to roll the rear guards on my G6ET as my 275 rear rib slightly. Said they are rolled from the factory so there nothing left to roll??? Is this correct? Anyone else attempted to roll rearguards on FG?

Been trying to contact Gavin today to get my G6ET rears rolled so my new 275's don't rub but its going straight to voicemail. How much did you pay per side?

My rear Kumho KU31 255/35/20's are worn badly on the inner side so looking for some replacements. No one seems to have any replacements in the country for atleast 4 weeks. I run 235/35/20 on the front of the same KU31. Someone recommended me the Hero Milanza HZ1 for around $215 per tyre. I have never heard of these before so skeptical. Had nankangs and other crap on other cars in the past and hated em. Recommend me something similar price, grip etc as the KU31's. I got a pretty stock G6ET.

Considering the Cyber EVO did a 1.30.58 to win this years event it shows how far away the average joe is in comparison. If you get a chance check out the Cyber EVO development videos on you tube. They used the same wind tunnel as the Toyota F1 team did to design the aero kit on their EVO. Those random looking pieces on their bodykit is not just there for looks.

Did you guys check out the dvd from this years event? I am in there for around 5 seconds standing next to Tarzan when they had the evo, wrx, R32 and R34 on display

Japan never sees hot summers like Australia, only very cold winters, hence the seat warmers on most top end Jap cars, hence the crap AC's on Jap cars. If Ford Australia couldn't build a car for Australia conditions then they might aswell shut up shop.

Mr Worm, just looking at you, you look like a drug dealing whos into kiddy porn. hehehe I used to get pulled over every time I drove my car in my R33 Skyline. Now cops don't even give me a second look. Driving an aus made car has a massive advantage to driving an import.

Would do this at next service but ford service costs are a rip off. Few hours work to replace?
