I have been playing with photshop and trying to pick what rims I want for my EGO. Here are some pics of a EGO G6E T I photochopped some different rims I like on.

Is that a facttory FORD car bra?

I dont rate thiose DUnlop Maxx Sport tyres to much as they produce alot of road noise. My wifes previous car a Mazda 3 had the same tyres and had a hell of alot of road noise also

I had a set of R33 GTR BOV's installed on my R33 when the GT30 went on in a similiar posiiton hidden behind the side of the front bumper, mainly becasue there was no room in the engine bay.

I am looking for some nice deep dish 10 or so spokes with the spokes in ego colour with polished lip. Something similiar to the Walkinshaw rims for the VE's

I am looking to upgrade to some 20's soon and am wondering what I could sell my factory G6E Turbo 18's for with rubber? They will fit a BF wont they? as I may have a potential BF buyer lined up

The front FORD badge is even bigger. They seem to keep getting bigger. My previous VE SS front Expensive Daewoo badge was also huge

Spun my G6E Turbo upto 180 a few times taking some mates for a spin. I noticed no traction control light flash in the XR6 Turbo. Because of the single spinner in the G mine flashes in first and a little in 2nd but doesent slow the acceleration down

Theres a reversing camera and sonar which shows you with lights on the LCD screen how close you are to something when reversing. You wont have to worry about hearing it

ANyone know if there is 1 out that will work on my blackberry 8310 with GPS?

Does anyone know how many seconds it is actually keeping records of? I am sure the courts could easily request the information from Ford if the incident was serious enough

I was browsing through the Ford manual last night and noticed that there is a recording function that keeps records from all sensors, lenght before rerecording wasent mentioned, so incase of an accident an authorised Ford tech can download the data and it can be used by the courts. Is this a new thing for the FG or has it been around for awhile? I bet Ford would use this data if you ever made a warranty claim to check what you were doing when something broke. A tuner should be able to get into this and use it to aide tuning on the dyno?

Its been raining everyday in Mel since I got the car so no chance even for the rest of the week for a good shot in the day light or showing the car clean. I got my windows tinted yesterday 20% all around so it will be hard to clearly see the interior even from the front.

I picked up my EGO G6E Turbo last friday also but with the black leather!! I am looking for some nice loking 20's. You gonna upgrade also?

WIll let you know when I actually get to give it a good drive as the only driving I have done so far is to the Airport the next day after picking up the car and now to and from work. Only had it 4 days so far.

My wife a Mazda CX7 with ipod integeration and it suzs balls. You have to reset the ipod eveytime you start the car so you can control it properly

Just upgraded to G6E Turbo from VE SS with a few mods and love it

I was playing music through my Ipod and setting up my blackberry bluetooth and made a call to test it out on Friday night in my 6E Turbo and also noticed it didnt mute the stereo when the phone on the other end was ringing. I havent recioeved a call in the car as yet so cant comment Gotta say that the ipod integeration in the FG is soooo much better that attempts by other car manufactures.

Let us know how long the Cashmere Leather lasts before getting stained. I remember the demo I test drove with the Cashmere and the front doors already had black marks on it from peoples shows when they get in and out of the car. I should have my CHP sorted out this week for my Ego with black interior.

So true. I has my 06 VE SS valued for a trade in for the G6E Turbo this week and they trade in figure they gave me was ridiculous. Well under the red book trade in valve and 10k under what I can sell it for privately, which I am now forced to do to cover the remaining $$ I owe on the car. Do you see it improving?

Is it 35% all around or darker? When the wife to get her new CX7 tinted from Mazda they wanted something stupid like $800, and we ended up getting it done at the same place they take it to for $320

They are a 10 spoke. The G6E Turbo I test drove yesterday had them. You really need 20's or bigger to fill out the guards on the FG
