john set up my bbs/ado8' I did about 3000kms and wore them down to nothing but they would offer no lasting grip cold or hot and the last few weeks it really went away, I was actually very dissapointed. meanwhile, the 888's, after one solid heat up, they grip grip grip grip so back to back the toyo's clearly are the winner in my experience.

Proven packages proven results and the best Ford tuner in Australia Simon Birch @ XFT!
-
all the way to pinjarra on e85! I may get there but not sure ill have enough to get back
-
good to catch up if only briefly! 888's seem to get better and better, fine tuning the teins and im floored how good it slingshots now without trailing black lines behind you! when the next power upgrade's happen I will have to invest into a 10" bbs's and go for a 295s. the alcon's get unveiled tomorrow and if today was anything to go by, the car needs them urgently! traction + power + standard 4 piston brembos = scary!

my tornado with a zf just went 430rwkw @ 16psi the other day with an XFT Xtreme Package on E85 with standard engine & turbo running id2200's, twin 044's and process west fuel rail. check my thread in the xft section of the forum

straight up hardparked for life! lol yeah when I get a free chance ill head down!
-
I wont lie, its awesome! the big fella has been working hard to sort out the id's idle quality to near factory perfect levels so now it doesn't feel like a cammed up ls at the lights! undecided about the cal(oz)traks as the car sits damn low but would really love to get more bite from the back end. what have other people done? im all eyes!
-
ill get simon to build me a sweet lil motor and a suitable turbo kit but without going overboard! the new lovells leaf springs with the reversed eye bolts has made traction, slightly better, but the test will be how much the 888's can hold it all down. hanging to fit the alcon's next week, something bad!

got the ute back from xtreme today with the new fuel system sorted and boy oh boy its a firecracker!
-
thanks d, I figure as much, but no harm putting it out there. I dont need to sell em, I just know what im like if I have stuff lying around, im will end up purchasing another car just to fit the wheels! (laugh but I did this with my old liberty just because I had a set of simmons from one of my other cars!)
-
I don't wanna post in the general fs rather keep it local, my simmons with brand new nero rubber need to go to make room for new wheels. looking for 7 grand. pm or call me 0411039714

just thought I would share a little feedback on running e85 everyday for the last month. fuel economy went from 17 on U98 or so lts/100 to its current 20.8 so you can see its not a huge increase (unlike its big brother 32 lts/100kms). I run it no lower than the 80km beep comes up and then tip 60lts in. this usually gets me through the week and I drive it every single day. naturally I don't commute a hell of a lot and rack up 1000kms in a week. so far the most painful thing in the ass has been not noticing that the filler neck was touching the tray and after about four refills it has left a couple of scratches which piss me off hardcore. so tip, if you fuel your ute on this stuff, lay down a microfibre cloth so the funnel doesn't touch. now just waiting on the twin 044 setup simon was making for me to give it a bit more of a tickle and slap some 888's on the back as the advan ad08's have seen better days
-
fuel change alone it went from 365kw/700nms to 408/800nms so bang for buck its right up there, okay the cost of the injectors, tune & fuel ads up but without going internal or bigger turbo I think 85 is a smart option for those with bolt on stageII+ power ups. I hate to admit it, but the ute is nicer to drive than its badder and equally as black bigger brother.

I swapped out the 72's for ID2000's just incase. I had my old set of sard 1200's earmarked for the car, but having to wire in the drop down voltage box and how nice the ID's tune, I decided against them. from what I have seen, 85 maxes out 1200's at around 500rwkw. boost is set at around 16 pound. frosty's bf went 470rwkw with 1200's and a single 044 on 85 (mind you with a lot more boost with a built engine) im surprised mine gave up so early with the single. with the double at the same boost with a bit more work on the tune should go 420-430 on its head which is sweet for a stock engine.
-
all states of tune, from stock, to injectors & flash, then stageII + and now naturally the corn juice with more yet to come!

ive been running full strength (mmmm beer) E85 in the ute everyday and will continue to do so from now on. I figure, for the price of the next mod upgrade, likely a T04Z, I could be in fuel for around 6months on my current usage. ill report back at the end of the first month and see how things are going. for now, fuel usage is not that much more than what it was before, so that's win and all that extra power/torque and lack of lag offsets the pain of decanting your own fuel. 410rwkw & 800nms is no bad thing for a daily hack! ive asked simon for a double 044 setup to sneak deep into the 450's but no rush!
-
correctomundo! had the teins fitted and everything else that you can do to the suspension including the kitchen sink! big transformation the ad08s now dont have to fight so much for traction but that will change once e85 is in its belly!
-
saving it for the next xft private test and tune day. sorry sporting fans I dont do powercruise if all goes well team xft will have a powerful showing at motorvation next year including F6F going for broke on the dyno 640+rwkw is on the cards!
-
I stole your fantasy wheels too bbs ch blacks finally in the country as of yesterday. waiting to be machined up to suit the falcon. the ad08s arrived today with a bit of luck all goes together next week then hello mr 450rwkw and naturally of to break sh*t at the drags!
-
had my zf built by simon today. to date its been the best mod I have done to the ute. its so much more fun to drive as the auto doughiness is all but gone. pickup rolling or stalled it just punches the next gear with authority. I was cursing having purchased the zf but after this im glad I got it! cant wait for the e85 tune now!

xrt bf with ricey ti tip f6 cooler and wheels @ the leedy hotel drive through, sounded tough!
-
I was bored so I pulled a tocchi!
-
mine looks like that now, I thought, 800...fark it...went to order one...1200+gst!!! so took it off and gave it to my panel beater instead, plastic weld that sh*t up! also had to order fpv sill panels as for some reasons old spice is sans them. the tint turned out mad, big thanks to trent @ tko. the fpv logo in the ghost effect is most cool.
-
800 hungie! I don't roll that deep. in better news, the twin manta 3" gets fitted this week and the stage 2 shortly after that. had a sit down with macey (my stereo guru) came up with a sweet setup. tint goes on tomorrow, 16% with a nice double black on black fpv graphic on the back window just sitting high off the lid covers hump. ill post pics when its done.
-
so I took the towball off and now have a gape. replace with a new panel? or plastic weld the dvda hole? part from fpv available for the lower valance or weld in the plastic?
